Who was the better Mighty Ducks captain?
I lean toward Adam Banks, he didn't chicken out of the finals against Iceland. I think winning the Jr Goodwill Games is bigger than beating the varsity team in an exhibition, if I'm being honest. He's the best all around player Bombay had, in my opinion. What do you guys think?

I lean towards Conway as the better captain.
Banks was the better player, yes. But he couldn't make the hard decision of getting his injury looked at without Bombay stepping in.
Once he was cleared, they had a hard decision to make, what with the roster being full.
Charlie showed leadership quality in making that hard decision on his own to sit out and help the team on the strategy side.
I think Conway would've been a decent coach one he got older.

Conway but I have no idea how he transitioned from a spaz and player a team could afford to scratch in a championship game to an elite high school goal scorer. Also love how the team could dominate an international competition but struggle in junior varsity hockey.

It's like Karate Kid 3 Daniel just beat Chozen who was practically trained from birth in a vicious fight to the death, Now he's struggling with Mike Barnes (In reality Daniel would've whupped him). |

Banks was the better player, but he was a damn cake eater who kept getting hurt. you need more than that in a team captain.

Neither. Conway was captain because Bombay wanted his mom. Banks was an interloper.
The team should pick the captain.

Anyone could have played his part in the Flying V, and other than that one play, he typically only accomplished being checked into the boards. Also, Charlie was a way better captain than Banks. Banks was the best player, but Charlie's leadership was much stronger. |
