Alongside names such as Ayesha Ray, Jessica James, Lei’D Tapa, Miranda, Marti Belle and Barbi Hayden that we revealed being in Florida to undergo medical testing for WWE’s Mae Young Classic. Two other names that are in Florida undergoing medical testing are Santana Garrett and Renee Michelle.

I had heard that Garrett was in it yesterday, which certainly seems to be the case.

I think the fact there is so many talents still to have their medicals and to be confirmed just further cements my point from earlier that this tournament's organisation has been a mess especially for the last few weeks when stuff was coming out from everyone but WWE.

Baker, Doom, Purrazzo, Matthews and Thunderkitty are in the box seat having worked enhancement for WWE or NXT within the last year, while Ray, Yim and McKenzie all did so in recent years, as well.

I would love Eagles as the veteran of the tournament with something to prove. They can also bring up she trained Billie Kay to try and give some instant credit.

Also Mia Yim because goddamn she deserves it

That's quite a trio of names. Martinez has always been good from what I've seen, and while I haven't seen any of Savoy or Baszler, I understand that Savoy is one of SHIMMER's recent breakout stars and Baszler is picking up and improving her in-ring work at a Kurt Angle-like pace.

Her history of injuries, as well as her stroke, would automatically leave her out of the tournament. She wouldn't pass wellness.

I love Lufisto, but she's too banged up for WWE.

I had a suspicion since that photo of the recent female signings at the pool party where she had patches on her knee. As the announcements kept coming and all the name changes kept coming, and she wasn't getting the new name, I knew something was up, but didn't want to say until there was any confirmation. Well, the thing against that is that they wanted to do this thing for years, wanted to do it right after the Cruiserweight Classic was a success and announced it in March. This is something obviously rumbling in the company for over a decade and now they have the right time to do it, we barely know whose in it (outside of other sources, not official ones), we don't know what the prize is for winning (which might be a championship for...reasons), we barely know whose commentating and involved in hosting and the promotion is lacking something fierce.

I'm not going to say this thing is a disaster because I'm sure it'll be somewhat there by the first taping but for something they wanted to replace Velocity for at one point, they're making a real mess out of it right now.

Like last year's CWC, there will be a live stream on the WWE Facebook page at 6:30pm ET where all 32 entrants will be introduced. There will also be a Bracketology special airing on the WWE Network right after SummerSlam on August 20th.
