"Classic" isn't an adjective, it's a specific style of invitational tournament.
Mae Young got the greatest match out of a bear that anyone ever has, so I'd assume this means some bears will be involved.

Can they stop calling EVERY tournament a "Classic"? It's starting to get annoying. I like it, personally. Adds more weight to it for me. I don't like it being the Mae Young Classic though, partially because the Andre Battle Royal has been so pointless, and also because they're still breaking new ground with the women and I'd rather they do so without anchoring an old name to it, hopefully it doesn't overshadow the tournament too much. |

I also think LuFisto should be in it. Come on, give my old friend a break, Triple H!
They are running out of people to go against Asuka, they could do a lot worse than putting LuFisto in there with her.

Im one of those people who kind of forget which is May Young and which is Moolah and I came in to this thread fully believing WWE chose the "bad one" just cause I wouldn't put it past them.

Daniel Bryan on commentary. Accomplish those two things and I'm happy. An announce team of Daniel Bryan and Renee Young would be great for this tourney. Well, Mauro would be better but you know.... Also hopefully no Mick Foley in the front row of every show creepily pandering to every female talent. |

I think it'd be pretty hard for them to put someone in the ring that had a stroke...could she even pass their medicals? Also after the Ibushi/Sabre Jr business they will not put anyone in a tournament that doesn't sign a contract with them first now, so no more freelances doing one offs for the WWE. |

I think she's fully recovered from her stroke and, sure, she's taken tons of abuse in 20 years, and she has the wear and tear of it, but they cleared some pretty beat up people and if rumors are right, they're thinking of putting Angle back in the ring. There's NO WAY that LuFisto is worse off physically than Kurt Angle. Angle is held together with gravel and silly putty at this point. Maybe she'd have trouble passing the brain scan due to concussion history. She has had a lot of those. Being totally fearless, uncaring for your own safety and barely taller than the ropes does that to you. |

I heard the term a ton in Tennis and Golf and I don't even follow those sports. That's why I was able to do the Nasty Nati Classic. |
