This excites me and worries me at the same time. At least it's Spielberg running it and not someone else. If they can get the original team (or at least most of it), this could be big.

If they can pull it off, then yes yes a thousand times yes I am all in. And if it's successful then maybe a Freakazoid reboot too? I of two minds of a freakazoid reboot. I love the original show, but I do wonder if they actually had it made how they original intended with more of an actual superhero show in mind. with there not being a bunch of other superhero action shows the parody aspect might not work as well. If they did make a Freakazoid remake, I'd like for them to pair Freak up with a parody of a stereotypically darker superhero as a foil. So long as the Animaniacs relaunch goes better than the Powerpuff one, I'll call it a win. |

I should really give this show a real run at some point. As a kid I never got into it, always liked Pinky and the Brain and especially Tiny Toons more, but I feel like I would appreciate it much more now.

As probably one of the few Rita and Runt fans, I'd love to see Bernadette Peters back in the role. If not her, then what is Venus Terzo doing these days? Her Blackarachnia voice is very much like Peters' speaking voice.

If it goes somewhere like Netflix, wonder if they'll be able to recreate the skirting-the-censors humour without the same restrictions. But definitely hoping they can capture the old magic.

Yeah Netflix would be the way to go, as it's too sophisticated for CN, but not crass enough for Adult Swim. Nickelodeon maybe? (remembers last time) NAAAAHHHHH....
