I was out with my best friend, having dinner, and I blacked out and had a seizure. Someone called 911, and my friend called my parents. Now, I'm on my way to the hospital.

Hope it goes well for you. Us epileptics gotta stick together. At the restaurant we were at, the woman that helped my friend, has a son that has seizures. I have nausea and the doctor said he would try to get me home tonight. I hate this feeling.  |

I have seizures as well for the past fifteen years. Mine are thankfully controlled by medication, but it is a terrible thing to live with. Hope you feel better soon edgestar.

They're going to follow up with my neurologist, but I get to go home now.

My friend told me she felt bad about asking the restaurant to call 911, but my parents kept saying she did the right thing. |

Considering that seizures and epilepsy can be uncertain, she did the right thing. Mind if I ask what you are on med wise? I am on Keppra, Gabapentin, and Zoloft. (Got anxiety after awhile once I developed epilepsy.) Sadly around me, I have no one to talk to about it. But I manage. |

Granted I'm a little ignorant on seizures but if they happen to people somewhat regularly aren't you just supposed to let them have it and move on?
