One of the perks Starlight seems to have learned as a human...You can stand even higher when you go giant!

Mornings
Back to England today via Gibraltar, which is strange as I will technically be back in the uk when I go there despite being based in southern Spain.
And Equestria Girls has lasted 4 years longer than it should have.
Pony on down.

Lupin the Third Kelly Sheridan has voiced quite the enjoyable characters, hasn't she?

Today is the day of the Yaks again. I didn't watch this episode yet, not because of anything doing with early watching, but because I forgot about it due to Royal Problem. Ah well, will watch this one later, I guess. Work time. Obliga-Twi.

Yeah, putting this in spoilers because I already watched the ep (because it starts at the time when I have check-out at the hotel, thus I would have to wait until tomorrow to watch the ep): {Spoiler} "Not Asking For Trouble"...gets an 8/10.
Pros:
-Really loved Pinkie's portrayal in this episode. She was her usual hyperactive and cheerful self but without coming across as annoying or obnoxious. Liked her several tries to get the yaks to accept help and how she came up with the plan to help them without them knowing it. So yeah, a wonderful Ponk portrayal here.
-The yaks were more bearable here than in their debut episode because we get to see more of their daily life besides "YAKS DESTROY!". Love the look inside their daily routines, finally getting to see and hear female and children yaks and them coping with the snow. Liked also how the ending took a clever middle ground that, instead of having the yaks realize that asking others for help is good, it just made clear of the fact that Pinkie did a right thing albeit unintentionally. Its not that the yaks don't appreciate being helped. Its just that they dislike having to ask for help which is considered weakness for them. And I felt that this way made it better than if they did it the regular way.
-The use of the mane six was also quite good with them used in the right amount without making it seem like their appearance was superfluous. Also loved the two small Twilight Dash and Rarijack scenes we had.
-The humor was alright for most of the episode (loved Pinkie's questioning of Prince Rutherford's childhood story).
Cons:
-The whole second act felt too long and repetitive with just going through the yak daily life again but this time in snow form. I don't know what they could have made better but that act felt like such a kind of bore really. And if the second act does not work, that takes a rather big deduction off.
So, all in all, "Not Asking For Trouble" gets an 8/10.

Certainly looks like "A Royal Problem" is the MVP of the first half of the season.

Deservedly so. The first real focus on the Royal Sisters and it delivered in spades.

I liked it too, even though I already saw Day Breaker's design before, was impossible to avoid.
It's hypocritical of me to say this, but I really am considering seeing "A Perfect Pear" when that episodes premiers in Australia, sounds like major things will be happening in that episode, will be impossible to avoid like in Royal Problem, seeing how we don't even know when S7 resumes on DF.

Do what you feel is right, Grey. I mean, I also watched today's episode before its actual release in the US for reasons, so...

I will say most likely I will watch the season finale when it first airs, in whatever country that will be. Most likely something major will happen, or it could be just like last last season's finale, just a fun episode with the changelings morphing into skittles.

And your last post now made me giggle imagining JR's reaction to the Changelings' transformation.

Another thing that makes "Royal Problem" the MVP (besides DayBreaker) is Ballerina Twilight. It's like 2 All Stars on an NBA team, it's a nice winning combination that ensures greater success.
*takes a bow for mixing in an MLP episode with a sports analogy*
