. So far looks like the Daring Doo is entirely fictional, so good they got that right, let's hope it stays that way. See, I'm not so sure. The director did say AK Yearling was very hard to reach, which could mean she's out adventuring...

*We cut to a flying fortress on the far reaches of Equestria. Inside, we hear hooves on the floor, as Tempest Shadow walks down a hallway, her soldiers saluting her as she walks past, towards the war room. The door opens, as other soldiers work inside. She looks over, her cohort Grubber standing at attention and saluting her.* "At ease, Grubber. Have the plans been completed?""Everything is ready, Commander Shadow. We have determined all the factors and have made it impossible for anybody to stop us."*She looks over the strategies and maps for a moment, before shaking her head.* "No, there's still factors that have to be in place."*A satyr soldier walks up, saluting for a moment.* "Commander, with all due respect, we've gone over every possible factor. The Elements of Harmony, the Royal Sisters, the Crystal Empire. We have contingencies in place for all of these.""Ah, but you forget one factor that has been a thorn in the side of many since arriving in Equestria. This factor has not only assisted them in defeating Tirek not once but twice, but has also helped in defeating a mad scientist and his robot army, along with an invasion of giant robots along with the Changeling Army. This factor is a dangerous one, and must be eliminated first in order for the plan to proceed."*She clicks a button on the ship, and the computer brings up a picture to reveal....* {Spoiler}

Seeing Sunset Shimmer as the main villain in the original Equestria Gits movie seem *Burp* A little strange now.

"Equestria Girls Tv Special No. 2: Movie Magic"...gets a 8/10 from me. Pros: -The movie studio set was a cool environment with its many different sets and locations. Definitely made for some nice visuals along the way (especially loved the look of the volcano set and the Middle-Eastern city). -The scenes with Dashie and Sci-Twi going all gaga over Daring Do were cute. Nice to see that some relationships do not change over the different dimensions. -For the first time, we see the girls using their jewels which was good to see. Also loved that they actually hinted at the other girls probably wearing their jewels more often in the future. -In general, the special had a good pace to it with everything moving along fine. The mystery was done quite well in an entertaining way (loved the scene where the mane seven in their Power Ponies get-up hunted the villain across the sets.) -Pinkie was really enjoyable in this one and I liked her appearance here the most (especially the scenes with her and the pudding). In general, the mane cast was a bit better used than in the last special. Cons: -The new introduced charactes did not leave much of an impression. Canter Zoom, Chestnut Magnifico, Stalwart Stallion...all of them were given too little screen time to get overly invested in them and it hurt the mystery aspect a bit (perhaps they could have done something like giving motives to Canter and Stalwart to shut down production as well). And Juniper Montage also has very little going for her that made her an interesting villain. All in all, there was not enough focus on the new characters imho. -Although I liked the scenes where Dashie and Sci-Twi used the jewels, it was never made entirely clear why they need them suddenly when they could just use their magic without them in the fourth movie. A bit of a confusing continuity. -The name Power Ponies to hear in EG sounded kinda strange (although I would not know what to call the human superhero team either. So yeah, Movie Magic gets an 8/10.

Have to say, looking at it so far...would not mind a regular Equestria Girls TV series.

A bit of a confusing continuity. . Juniper at least will get more next special. As for the gems, the reason they could in Legend of Everfree was how close in proximity they were to the magic of the gems in the camp. Remember, when Dash ran out of range of the camp, she lost her super speed until she was in range of the gems again. I'm assuming once the full "choosing the wearer" thing happened, they needed to actually have them on their person to use them. Also, no extra point for Sunset Mane-iac?
