Apparently the more recent films get a lot higher views so in that respect I don't blame him however the character is literally called the Nostalgia Critic lol Plus I always he specifically stated in the video announcing the NC return that he wouldn't so anything currently in theaters but I normally check out the threads here to find out if its a clipless ones and then just skip it......no harm, no foul Right, there's no rage here or whatever, it's just a case of if it's X kind of video, I'm not interested and will check out when it is one I wanna watch. Same with any of those guys really. Related, there are comics I would be interested in watchin vids on in Linkara's Longbox of the Damned, but the character he does in those with the "Transylvanian" accent is not something I enjoy, so I just don't watch those. |

C'mon Doug, just do it: "Nostalgia" Critic  He really got off on Be Kind Rewind and just never let it go, huh? I mean, on the one hand I get it. He got burned out doing just sit in the chair styled reviews and wanted to change things up. And with youtube's copyright system being the way it is, this is the best way to avoid his channel getting taken down. But yeah, I'm honestly not a fan. |

If I remember correctly, he started getting requests for Current (Stinker) Movies around the time of Man of War, but ended up putting them off until they got their home release... and then got them nailed by copyright. Once he started doing clipless reviews (which started with... what, Hocus Pocus?), it probably seemed easier to kill two birds at once - dancing around the copyright strikes, and doing reviews of current, popular/shitty stuff that people will never stop requesting.
As to the review itself... I mean, the cheesy acting in the 'clips' aside (which doesn't bother me all that much, tbh), it was alright. Had its moments that made me laugh. Liked the bit at the end about why he felt it was a good movie.
