Welp, Apollo Crews died tonight as the hands of Strowman, shout out to Roman hiding in an ambulance the entire time and watching both Apollo and Titus die. He's a real hero you guys, cheer for him.
Anyways, Apollo died as he lived, with a smile on his face, leaving behind a new daughter that Im sure Heath Slater will take care of, I mean he does have kids. But I wonder who the Titus Worldwide Brand will get as his replacement since yknow, he's dead.
Anyways, that kick counter to Crews Moonsault was amazing. Braun does little things that just make me and so many others grow as fans every week. It's really amazing how much he's come into his own by... murdering the guy they're trying to push and failing for like four years now.
Also props to Titus for defending his guys, makes this whole thing feel more legit.
Can we please get a Titus Selfie of him and Crews in the ER?

That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It's also one of those rare things just when you think you've seen everything that needs to be seen in wrestling, we see this. But shit I was scared for how Apollo landed on his head.

But shit I was scared for how Apollo landed on his head. Shows you how athletic Braun is to have the coordination to do that and it was a scary bump by Apollo but thankfully nothing serious came of it. If there's one thing people need to do is give Vince and co. more credit on how they brought Braun along

I loved everything about the main event tonight. I've always liked Apollo since the first time I saw him wrestle. I've always been a sucker for athletic, pure faces like that. Even though he got his ass kicked I liked that they added something by mentioning he had just had a daughter and wanted to make her proud. I like that he kept standing up to Braun and didn't back down at any point. And I liked that even though I thought they were going in a direction of Titus being a heel taking advantage of Apollo and Akira, he fought for Apollo and genuinely cared. It was a nice little moment.

...how exactly was he supposed to ensure he'll land safely from that move?
I'm glad it worked out, but damn, that just seems like a risk that isn't worth taking.

Yeah the more you watch it you can see how they constructed it, Apollo sort of stops mid air so BRAUN can get him and then I guess he was probably aiming to roll out of it when he hit the mat - but ended up landing hard on his shoulder. Which looked brutal but definitely sold it as a death move.

I mean this when I say Braun Strowman if he remains healthy is a special breed when it comes to Pro Wrestling.
He isn't even an Indy Guy, he came from a powerlifting background and just went all in, he understands how to talk, he understands ring psychology to a T and he understands what being a Hoss is all about.
It's amazing to me how they've tried to build Roman around Braun, but all they've done, is build Braun more. He gets cheered for killing Roman, he gets cheered for saying he will basically kill the man again. Im sure HHH is off on an interview somewhere saying that is all part of the plan, but fact is, Strowman is just that good at what he does. He should have ended Taker, I would have had zero qualms about it. But he backed away from him.
Which brings me to my next point. Braun's presentation has been, for the most part, great. He's an athlete and presence that WWE needs. To me? Roman Reigns is a dime a dozen and there are guys who can fit his role currently on the roster, and better. (Let me preface this by saying I mean FACE Roman Reigns, and the BIG DAWG gimmick, The Guy who can't seem to make up his mind nor can the booking team with how they want to present him. Roman as a heel is another story that currently doesn't exist). He has won countless accolades already, doesn't ever lose clean, doesn't ever seem to get over with the collective audience. He's a lose-lose cause right now. Braun losing this match? It's detrimental to the entire brand as a whole. Roman isn't gaining anything with a win other than showing he's New Coke Cena. Braun however, NEEDS the win, he needs to beat Roman and establish himself as what he should be, a top dude in wrestling, and face the winner of Brock/Joe at Summerslam.
You can lie to yourselves and say Roman Reigns is a guy to build a brand around, but that "Empire" hasn't had a sound foundation since its started, if any at all. While Strowman is only getting more and more traction as a performer and as a monster, with just as much fanfare with it. Don't F*** this up WWE. I have watched some guys with so much potential flatline because of your start/stop protective pushing. If I have to watch Roman Reigns win this match, when he doesn't need it, and Braun does, it's gonna be one of the first times I really have to consider taking a break from the product if the end game is to feed Joe and Strowman both for a Roman/Lesnar borefest at Summerslam that no one f***ing wants.
That's just how much I feel Braun Strowman can help this company. Amazing to think about how far his stock has risen in like a year, but it has. He's really good, I've heard Vince loves him. Well if you love him, you know how important this is. He already lost once to Roman in a bullshit way. He loses again, it helps no one. Absolutely NO ONE.
So please... just do Braun right, for the sake of yourselves.

Srsly tho, are Apollo and Titus faces now? They both acted honorably. They've been easing Titus into the face role to play more with the faces he has on lock, like Apollo and Tozawa. He's been stepping up to Neville and tonight showed he'd step up for Crews too, I like that. I was cool with Titus and Crews as heels but I like that they've actually developed a bond over time.

Crews was likely in the process of turning heel as he gradually embraced O'Neil's management and support, but the act was getting so much good buzz about it off of O'Neil's enthusiasm in putting over Crews (and Tozawa) that it's more than likely turned O'Neil back into a face. And him standing up to Strowman tonight seems to have cemented that for now.

To be fair, no one did dick to help Roman when Braun was trying to murder the guy. He doesn't really owe them shit, particularly if it'd interfere with his own revenge plot. I really have never been a big Titus fan by any stretch, but it does kinda feel like he's in his element in this role.

Reminds of the time during Vader's run in WCW where an overmatched babyface like the Z-Man would try to put up a fight against him but soon just gave into the eventual destruction. Crews lost no ground since he went down swinging. Titus the same deal. WWE brilliantly built up Braun as a dominate force where even someone like Reigns facing him make fans doubt if he can withstand the onslaught.

I wouldn't be shocked if he recruited a big time heel for his brand, I like how he acts like an obnoxious douchebag, but I love he genuinely loves and cares for his clients. He's basically acting like a negative stereotype of sports and Hollywood agents but he has a heart of gold and charm as Ari Gold from Entourage.
