I gotta say the Eva Marie one is the closest to the real thing. Which makes me wonder, so she still get royalties? Maybe she still is on the roster we just don't know it.

Man, they'll sell anything won't they? Also in a way, doesn't this feel like a Divas-era move merch wise? Not at all. This isn't marketing the women to adults based on their sexuality. This markets them to young girls who may look up to them. I think this is a really good move by WWE and Mattel. Just out of curiosity, I showed my 6 year old daughter and she went nuts over the Becky Lynch doll.

It'd come down to her contract, but she probably would. I know people have asked Lance Storm if he gets paid for DVDs, etc, he is in, and he said he does get checks when that kind of stuff is out.

I actually really love that they're doing something directly for young girls here.

Although sales were low for the Lance Storm inaction figure. It came with weak ass chair shot action.

Women's Evolution = Barbie dolls?
I mean it's cool for collectors, I'm sure young girls will love them, and they look fine but I can't help but think it's a bit weird.

f*** yeah, my daughter is gonna love these. She has a bunch of my old wrestling figures, but she loves dolls and these are right up her alley.

Oy, if my mother wasn't so adverse to wrestling as a whole, she loves Barbies and I'd probably get her one. Oh well.
Just noticed the Alicia Fox one. I'm totally gonna need to get it.

I can forgive skin tone inconsistencies over the course of a few different generations/toy lines... but making a person both black and white in the same series?

Because people online would knock the women from the pre and post trish eras as plastic Barbie dolls like it's some kind of insult.

Hot digity damn. I just realized that Mattel put out a line of dolls that have nothing to do with high school.

Yeah, these are going to sell like hotcakes. The number of purple Bayley shirts you see in the crowd show there's almost as many young girls as boys into wrestling these days. Someone in marketing is getting a nice xmas bonus this year.
