Every single one of you is spelling "Laptop" wrong... The laptop goes down in my estimation when it was involved in the worst finish for the worst match in WrestleMania history, Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler. And also the Hornswoggle reveal which literally makes no sense when you remember at one point the laptop was feuding with Hornswoggle.

Am I alone in liking the laptop (until the reveal that it was f***ing Hornswoggle of course)? It was revealed to be him once, but I don't take that to mean he was it the whole time. Otherwise, he made his and Finlay's life hell for no actual reason more than once. I think they probably wanted it to be JBL, but then didn't go with that due to him not being back yet.

Are there currently any promotions that don't heavily center around authority figures?
Like I had mentioned elsewhere, I've only ever watched WWE since WCW went under, and my love of wrestling is all but dead.

What amuses me about the laptop was that it was often treated as if an actual physical computer was running Raw, and not a human being controlling the show remotely. And for a while, it was the most logical theory when you consider that someone could destroy or turn off the laptop and the show would proceed the rest of the night without an authority figure. And of course, the week the computer had a voice and it was flat out GLaDOS.

Yes he is, but let's do away with GM type authority figures. Go back to a Jack Tunney type president - a bit boring, serious and impartial. Only seen during major storylines.

WILL YOU BE SERIOUS?! But, yeah we need an WWF President type again. Can't believe it's been 20 years since Gorilla appointed a commissioner to handle the day by day.

Like I had mentioned elsewhere, I've only ever watched WWE since WCW went under, and my love of wrestling is all but dead. Ring of Honor Just about all Japanese wrestling Chikara has had them but all in the service of fun, not dominating the shows. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Lucha Underground obviously has Dario Cueto, but he's the greatest example of a tired trope becoming fresh and interesting again that wrestling may well have ever seen.

Eric Bischoff is probably the only dude in wrestling that hasn't done something heinous or criminal that I would legit fight, knowing fully well I'd get my ass kicked. I just want to get in that one solid punch to the side of his stupid head.
That's all I have to add.
