In like 10 years, I wouldn't be shocked if the NBA is the top sport in the US. It's definitely #2, anyone who tells you baseball is is still clinging to the past. NBA has surpassed baseball by a wide margin. Younger demographic, safer sport to play and in touch with the social issues that are going on now. Basketball is a safer sport than baseball? I love baseball, and I can say that you're standing still for most of it. Basketball, you're constantly moving, jumping up and down, you can snap ankles and blow out knees. Guys throwing their hands in your face, etc. Baseball you can get beamed in the head and die Dudes are constantly throwing 95 plus MPH pitches at you. You move a lot in baseball so I disagree that "you're standing still for most of it"

Also, SportsNation has become more fun since Beadle left and Cari Champion took her place. Cari Champion is very underrated She doesn't try to fit in because she's just her natural cool self.

The worst freakish accidents in basketball can mess up your leg for at least a year. The worst freakish accident in baseball can kill you. Regular injuries are about on the same for both (sprains, pulled muscles, fractures, etc) but there's a lot more room for something disastrous to happen in baseball due to the equipment used, like baseballs being thrown at 90+ mph, bats, helmets, spiked cleats, etc. And there's also head-first slides and collisions on the basepaths and at home plate.

If you really think about it Get Up is really a terrible name for a show Since they were copying Good Morning American or at least they were supposed to a name like Good Morning ESPN could have worked just fine

The biggest problem is that Greeny is the anchor equivalent of a quadruple A player. Way too big for the small time, but way too small for the big time. Whoever you put with him has to carry him to an interesting show. So you have to saddle him with people on the rise, who would see carrying him as an opportunity rather than a chore. So like Katie Nolan and Stugotz. You just need to hide Greeny in plain sight, because plenty of sitcoms (like How I Met Your Mother or Parks & Rec) have had a main character that I hated, but featured secondary characters so much that you could still readily enjoy the show. And Greeny is the Ted Mosby of sports. Weak, bland, milquetoast, the opposite of Batman.

He's a dude who will openly tell you he's wealthy and doesn't even make an effort to do anything around the house. People who listened to Mike & Mike at least had Golic on the other side as an "every man". Yes, Golic made some decent money in the NFL and has been employed by ESPN over 20 years but he still had "roots" he never forgot. Also, his family is entertaining as well which makes for fun stories. Hell, I used to like it when Coach replaced Greeny sometimes because Golic would ask Coach questions about wrestling that was a genuine interest and led to funny convos. With Greeny you feel like you are talking to someone who is condescending which is horrible for a morning show and Jalen nor Michelle makes it better with both being very annoying.

Greeny used to be the worse with that. He was the type of dude if he shake your hand he would wash his hand

You know, in retrospect, I should have liked it more when Greeny lost at the Sheet of Integrity.

The 'Odd Couple' pairing of Mike & Mike worked, I have no clue why he thought breaking away from that was in any way a good idea.

Greenberg needs someone to compliment him. The Golic clan did that mostly well in the Mike and Mike days. And Hal is forming that chemistry with Golic on the new Golic and Wingo show. But Beadle and Rose are not that. At all. If anything, they're losing chemistry as they go on instead of forming it.
This show is a dumpster fire.

As mentioned before someone like Stugotz probably would have been perfect to compliment Greenberg. He would have gotten on his nerves so much Greenberg would have had no choice but to step his game up

The irony of "Mike and Mike" was that Greenberg, who was supposed to represent the "fan", came off as more aloof and self-entitled that Golic, who was the "jock".
