So Ben Mendelsohn is in this.......... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}He's a Skrull. Playing the shape shifting leader of the invasion. Cool. Of all the Skrull names to give him, they chose Talos the Tamed as his name. Great. Talos the Tamed was specifically a Skrull who could not shape shift. Terrific. It's a little thing, I know, he'll obviously be great because he's a great actor so in the end it's meaningless, but it's a stickler for the dorks... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}

Might change as we get closer to release but I think I'm going to wait for video on this one. Not that it looks bad by any means (really if I thought that I'd be putting it into the, "Never bothering with this," pile I have Dr. Strange and the Ant Man movies in), I just don't really feel anything toward it.
I think I'm just exhausted with the superhero genre for the moment. Really none of what's on the horizon from anybody has me all that interested and while I still generally enjoy them I can't remember the last superhero movie I was actually excited for.

Wow, she looks badass. I'm really looking forward to this. Hoping it'll cleanse my palate after her awfulness in Civil War 2, ugh.

Honestly I'm of the same mind...would totally wait for digital release to see this BUT because A4 comes out so soon (8 weeks!!) after it (and i literally have to see that in the cinema, there's no way to avoid spoilers for 4/5 months) I am resigned to the fact that Captain Marvel is a required cinema visit...which is pretty damn genius of Marvel to ensure their first lead female superhero movie does big numbers at the box office. totally get the superhero fatigue as well...outside of Captain Marvel and A4 I don't foresee me rushing out to see a superhero film in theaters for a long long time.

I can understand the fatigue..... I didn't see Venom in the theater mainly because of that. However, I'm such a mark for the MCU at this point, that I will see everything I can as soon as possible. Hell, I'm even looking forward to Aquaman on the DC side. It looks really good, but I also know it's DC, so I will have tempered expectations.

I am stoked. I am more excited for Aquaman, but that's not a knock, given I am really hopeful for both films.

It's pretty much the same as the previous trailer.

It's pretty much the same as the previous trailer. Main difference is it clarifies that the old woman is in fact a Skrull.

I actually wish they didn't include the old woman Skrull reveal in the trailer. It would've been an amazing moment if we didn't know what she was beforehand.
