Bears gave Glennon $45 million to start 4 games lol I don't understand why they couldn't wait until after the bye week Yes, Glennon has played bad in big stretches but in fairness the Bears played close games with ATL and beat Steelers in OT I guess the reasoning becomes if they had a better starting QB they could have won those games

QB Jay Cutler being WR Jay Cutler is the most Jay Cutler thing I've seen all week.

Who knows how long Carr is going to be out Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota are young quarterbacks who are cursed with the two worst words in sports: "when healthy." They could be two of the very best quarterbacks in the NFL, when healthy. They could lead their teams to division championships and potential deep postseason runs, when healthy. They have all the talent in the world, when healthy. Unfortunately, they're stuck with that caveat because neither can stay on the field. With Mariota, it's attributable to his aggressive style of play, in which he uses his legs and isn't afraid to leave the security of the pocket and dash across the line of scrimmage. With Carr, it's attributable to a below-average offensive line. But for Raiders fans, Titans fans, and football fans in general, it's lousy knowing that the next generation of elite NFL quarterbacks are stuck with the phrase "when healthy" attached to their name anytime someone foists praise on them.

QB EJ Manuel will start for the Raiders against the Ravens
Seahawks RB Chris Carson has been placed on IR with a broken leg
Seahawks LT Rees Odhiambo is still in the hospital with what cardiologists believe is a cardiac contusion, or a bruised heart

Panthers FS Kurt Coleman is out for a month with an MCL Sprain
Buccaneers RB Doug Martin has been activated for Thursday's game against the Patriots

It's a freaking shame that guys like this have the 'when healthy' tag, yet Alex freaking Smith is always there and dodges injury.

Carr is out 2-6 Weeks with a Back Fracture
Julio is not expected to miss any time, Mariota is considered day to day
Some pretty nasty injuries this week... The Bills and Seahawks also suffered some big losses, and The Bills definitely couldnt afford them... But yeah Oakland is not in a good spot either...

The Patriots are off to a slow start, their defense looks historically awful, yet I'm not sweating it all that much because the rest of the AFC is having its own share of struggles.
Buffalo is scalding hot with wins against Denver and Atlanta, but the injury bug bit them and they don't have the talent to compensate for the players they've lost. Also, they'll regress back to the mean soon enough.
Miami looked like they wanted to hit the snooze button in England on Sunday morning and Jay Cutler has the body language we've all grown accustomed to seeing out of Jay Cutler. He looks like he'd rather be on the beach than on the practice field in South Beach.
Oakland is going to start EJ Manuel for the next two to six weeks. If they don't go at least .500 without Derek Carr, that could sink their season before we turn the calendars to November.
Pittsburgh lost to Chicago a week ago and one has to wonder if Antonio Brown's sideline temper tantrum is a sign of things to come if the Steelers start to trend downward.
Tennessee may be without Marcus Mariota for a spell.
Jacksonville will come back to earth, it's only a matter of time.
Realistically, the only teams in the AFC that cause me as a Patriots fan to ponder January are Denver, Kansas City, and Houston. But it's still a long season to go and the quarter-point is awfully early to make rash assumptions.

The injury bug continues to bite hard. Redskins CB Josh Norman will miss a few weeks with a fractured rib. The only solace for Washington is they have a Bye Week and then they play the Niners.
Without Norman on the field, The Skins gave up 23 straight points to Kansas City's offense, which would ultimately lose them the game.

But the Colts and Niners are awful (a team they almost lost to), and they lost to Washington at home, in a game that was not as close as the final score indicates. The Cowboys win on the road was huge, so yeah...they are what their record says they are but eh...we'll see. Hue Jackson is 1-19 as coach of the Browns. I say this every year, I have no idea why some guys take jobs where you're more than likely going to be fired from. The Browns job stunk before he took it, and it'll stink after he gets canned.

I don't disagree with you there but I def give them a little extra bump for that Cowboys win on the road as it was a huge win in the right direction for them For a team like the Browns in general it's just hard to coach there. Every year they are in a position to draft an impact player and they win and miss 75% of the time. I like the rookie QB they got now but they threw him into the fire and if/when they take him out you are going to hurt his confidence. It starts at the top and that organization is just a mess all around

You know, the last couple years it just doesn't seem like a normal Vikings Season without losing two of our most important players in the first quarter of the season.
