So the only healthy WR The Giants really will have is Sterling Shepard if his injury isn't that serious. Currently listed as day to day. So here are some current possible free agents out there... - Anquan Boldin: Said he'd come back for a contender, so that's out - Marques Colston - Hakeem Nicks - Jacoby Ford - Eddie Royal - Greg Little - Kris Durham - Keenan Reynolds - Miles Austin - Brian Hartline - Riley Cooper - Kenbrell Thompkins - Austin Pettis - Chris Givens - Denarius Moore - Dorial Green-Beckham Expect The Giants to be looking at a few of these names. More than likely will be holding tryouts all this week and need to sign some practice squad guys or names off this list to try and rebuild what is a decimated WR Core... The Core is gone, and what's left of the Corps is more like a Corpse.

The Giants have completely taken on the role of The Jets this year, who were expected to also have a shit Wide Receiver Corps and be 0-5 to start... and are instead 4-2, and while they don't really have a shining offense, are winning. This year has been WEIRD...

I like Cooper, Thompkins, and Green-Beckham and there's also some trades they could possibly make but I doubt they want to waste assets on a wasted season

Adrian Peterson has been traded to the Arizona Cardinals for a Conditional Draft Pick
Matter of time, too many Running Backs in New Orleans and Arizona needs one so it works out. Gonna be interesting to see Peterson vs Seattle and LA's Defenses... hell see if he slices The Niners and still has it.

Hmm I kind of like that trade
The Cardinals badly miss Johnson so AP should get plenty of touches
Good luck trying to run against Seattle tho

I see them getting Free Agents to basically be the used bubble gum that stops the leaks... somewhat. Also pretty sure Reuben Randle is also available, played for The Giants for a bit, he could be a possible scoop...

Eli is going to earn his money this season but they def are going to run the RB into the ground because no f***ing way Eli is throwing to his replacement players

I'm still baffled why the Saints even picked up AP. Dude doesn't fit their scheme at all.

Being greedy No telling what Payton said to AP to get him to sign because he knew himself the Saints are a passing team and it's not like Ingram was never going to get touches I guess they tried to sell him on the fact two of the all time greats (AP and Brees) could team up and make it work but nope that shit was doomed from jump Guess he's happy he didn't sign with the Giants either

Nothing I saw, last night, did anything to discourage my belief that Mitch Trubsky can be a really good NFL QB. He certainly struggled at times, and the late INT was a back breaker, but there was enough throws he made (some called back by penalty) to make me content with his first start.

Trub looked fine. I'd argue it's best to get your ego broken early than to have early success and crumble when you can't repeat it later.
I'm not saying he's the second coming of Brady, but Trub showed potential and some moxie.

Trubisky turned the ball over twice, should have thrown at least two more picks, and completed less than 50% of his passes, and yet...I'm completely with you.

And I chalk some of it up to what may be the worst group of pass catchers in the NFL. Even Mike Glennon deserves better.

Yeah, I feel like the combination of the lack of WRs and the constant back-breaking penalties led to Trubisky trying to force things too much. And then some basic rookie mistakes from Trubisky that I'm not really concerned about long-term.
