if Jay Cutler is the answer to the Dolphins problems they are asking the wrong question Yeah not thrilled with Cutler but this late in the game cant be picky. He also knows the system. That being said i dont see why Matt Moore couldnt win

Atlanta Falcons Cornerback Jalen Collins has been suspended the first 10 games of the season without pay for violating NFL's policy on PED
He's only making $928,440 and he just forfeited $561,141.

Everything always works out for the Pats in that division. The only half decent team has Jay Butt-ler as the QB.

Cutler isn't awful per se but I still think it's a bad move. My issue with him has always been the feeling that he could be so much better than he is if he put in more effort. So many of his flaws could be fixed if he just worked at it more and I don't think he will do that this year.

Plus, you're replacing him with a guy who has been hot garbage the last few seasons AND is coming in with only a few weeks in camp left. Considering he was retired and about to be in broadcasting, I doubt he's been training to stay in football shape. Has any QB in NFL history ever made such a ridiculous amount of money over his career and done so little to earn it? (Im not talking short term career ala JaMarcus Russel etc)

Signing Cutler was not the best move. Dude was a hot mess for a few years and his commitment to the game is bad enough that he quit despite a few teams being QB-needy. If you really wanted someone who knows the system you should have worked out a deal with Cleveland for Osweiler. Sure, wasn't great last year either but O'Beien's lack of support for the guy was a fireable offense as far as I'm concerned.
Think about it. As long as Cleveland agrees to eat much of his salary (which they are committed to do anyways), it is an infinitely better idea. Osweiler only has one bad season under his belt as opposed to several in Cutler's case. While neither option is great, I find Cutler the far less inspiring option.
Additionally, Tannehill could test the free agent market after this season and someone will overpay him. Miami should have gotten someone who at least could potentially replace Tannehill if that happens. Cutler isn't that guy due to his age and wear and tear on his body, even if he excels this season. At least if Brock proved to be a system guy he could be available for years to come if needed. Cutler just won't be.

I'd say "Dolphins should've signed Kaepernick instead," but then I can't really blame a team based in Miami for not signing the guy who wore a Fidel Castro shirt.
Still there should've been a better option out there than Jay Cutler.
