Their SummerSlam 2011 match was great.

If only Orton was the dude that turned heel in that feud. The matches were great, but thanks to Christian turning heel, when he won the title for the first time, saw his best friend forced to retire, lost the title 2(4) days after a ladder match and was screwed over on a number of occasions, it killed the heat and drawing power of both guys.
Damn shame.

They had a very good series of matches, I liked the match they had at Over the Limit 2011 probably the best of all of them.

These two are my favorites to wrestle each other of all time.

It seems so random to say there was an Orton/Christian series.

I started so enraged when that feud began. Although it could have gone better, the match quality had me happy by the end of it. Both played their role so well. I still love rewatching their cage match just for the spot where Christian fakes out the crossbody-RKO spot from their first match in an attempt to escape. So simple and so effective.

Makes me wish Orton stayed WWE champion for Christian to come in and win the title for a short run.
If there's one thing that would get me watching again, it's WWE champion Christian.
If Goldberg could do it at 50, Christian could do it at 43.

I hope Christian doesn't have one more match.
For that matter, I wish Orton wouldn't wrestle again either.

They had like six championship matches during that feud, and they were all f***ing great.

Christian might be in my top 5 of my all time favorite wrestlers. I miss him and I hated how for a guy who was rarely injured, he got a bunch of sudden career ending injuries all at once.

Christian seldom more than "existed" to me... I think the only times I truly enjoyed him was when he was second fiddle to someone else.
That said, I'd freak if he returned for one last match. Nostalgia still gets me.

They had the feud of the summer and I still say they made all the right moves for that feud and it elevated Christian more than any 2-3 month long title reign could have

Can you blame the poor guy for wanting to be in a GOOD program for once?

Loved the continuity between these two I think they referenced that spot in a different way in every single match they had.

I would've liked their matches a lot more if every one of them weren't, "Christian hits every move under the sun, gets upset, a single RKO ends it." Kind of hard to call the matches that good when they were all the same and all completely lopsided.
Really only good thing I can say about that feud is without it going the way it did we wouldn't have gotten Mark Henry winning the World title when he did.
