*We cut to just outside the Everfree Forest. Nightfall. We hear rustling in the bushes, and see a pair of blueish green eyes peer out into the darkness. Just then, we hear a rumbling in the distance, and cut to a road that runs just by the forest. A familiar Mercedes Benz SSK rolls down the road, with a familiar thief behind the wheel, smoking a cigarette as he drives. His focus shifts, as a green orb of energy flies towards the SSK, diving clear as the car explodes into flames. He gets up, dusting himself off, looking over at the burning SSK.*
Typical. I always have the worst luck with that car.
*He hears rustling in the bushes, deciding not to waste anymore time. We cut to the Everfree Forest, as Lupin runs down a path, as we see he's being followed. He stops at an opening, finding that it's near the edge of a river. He turns and out of the darkness comes an army of satyr-like creatures, all wearing armor. Lupin assesses the situation in his mind, waiting to see before he pulls out his Walther. He hears trotting, and out walks Tempest Shadow.*
"I've finally found you at last.....Arsène Lupin the Third.
Well, I see that my illustrious reputation precedes me once again. Although I've felt your presence in the past couple of months, I don't believe we've been formally introduced.
"Well, that's because we've been following your every movement, thief. We feel that you are the one factor standing in the way of our plan to overthrow Equestria in the name of the Storm King."
Another overlord looking to overthrow the kingdom and plunge the land into everlasting slavery. I don't know how many times I've dealt with villains like you since being transported here.
"Seems a bit hypocritical of you, since your occupation is not one that is looked highly upon."
Hey now, I'm a gentleman thief. I steal for the thrill and the challenge. I'm not trying to take over the world, so don't lump me in with you guys.
*She smirks as her soldiers aim their staffs at him. He chuckles, but notices her broken horn.*
You must be strong, considering these goons probably wouldn't follow orders from a unicorn with a defect.
*She snarls, commanding them to open fire. He tosses down a smoke bomb, as they start blasting at him with lightning energy. He knocks a couple out through the chaos and confusion, looking to make his escape. However, as he turns, he feels a sharp pain in his chest, looking down, and seeing the unicorn stabbing him with her horn.*
"How's that for a unicorn with a detect, thief?"
*He doesn't respond, trying to gasp for air, as she pierced a lung.*
"I guess before I finish you off, I can grant your request. As you drift into the afterlife, you can know that you were killed once and for all by Tempest Shadow."
*She pulls her horn out, kicking him in the chest, as he falls into the river. The army watches as he floats unconsciously down the river, blood trailing him in the water.*
Commander Tempest Shadow reporting. The thief has been dealt with. Now nothing stands in our way....."
