I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Tyrus had a weird career. He was a bouncer and a bodyguard for Snoop Dogg. Tommy Dreamer hired him because allegedly he was friendly to him while Tyrus was bouncing in a bar. Then in the wwe he was being groomed to become a monster heel but his skills weren't up to par. In order to learn he became Alberto del Rio's bodyguard. According to Ricardo Rodriguez, Tyrus was the drizzling shits. Then the guy came up with his biggest success as the funkasaur and apparently the gimmick that matched his real life personality. Unfortunately for him, once they took the comedy gimmick away from him and turned him heel, he got exposed. In TNA he tried to start over, but selling for f***ing Jeremy Borash killed any chance he had left. Then he lingered until he quit. The guy definitely had the size to be a star, but his work was poor. I remember it being reported saying that he was the one that wanted to get away from the Funkasaurus gimmick... was there any truth to that? I mean... if so he's an idiot as that was clearly the only reason he was employed... as it certainly wasn't his ring skills. Tyrus: "Can I please get away from the one thing that has gotten me over?" WWE Creative: "Uh.....ok?"

Yeah, that "main event playa" bullshit he was talking about after he turned heel was reportedly more or less his real feelings on where he felt he should be in the company, so creative humoured him for a few weeks before the intevitoble happened.

Also he knocked out Nevilles teeth so that didn't help matters

He needed the comedy gimmick because his work was the shits. He was sloppy. He was unsafe to work with.

There was nothing wrong with him and Tensai dancing and shit. That team could still be around today. Make it happen in NXt

There was nothing wrong with him and Tensai dancing and shit. That team could still be around today. Make it happen in NXt If he came back he should honestly be one of those 'back up to the main roster' guys. The Funkasaurus act is much better suited for main roster shows and commercial dark segments when he can dance with Make-a-Wish kids in the ring and the crowd has a good time; I don't know that it would really get that same kind of play in NXT. No Way Jose's doing a lighter schtick that's catchy-and-clappy enough to give the fans something to do, and he's coming along as an exciting enough worker that he's not entirely the dancing thing. Brodus didn't have that, Brodus was basically 90% kid appeal.
