And it's already going to be a current events episode.
When did Trey & Matt get a boner for Randy?

Didn't they say they were going back to "kids being kids?"
Season 20 was such a bore with its overarching political themes.

My favorite episodes always seem to be the ones where kids take something innocent and normal... and end up neck deep in shit with multiple casualties and the episode ends with a joke like " Now that shits over... Who wants ice cream!?"

Randy was a good source of comic relief when they started to make his character the parent who would be just as bad as the kids but they've def gone overboard in their later seasons giving him multiple subplots.

Randy was better when he was mostly a competent person who'd end up in bizarre situations versus a complete moron.

I really wanted to get excited for this season but I just can't. Season 19 and 20 were so bad.

Wasn't his first appearance on screen completely underreacting to someone telling him a volcano was erupting? Yeah, but that is still probably an average-intelligence behavior for an early South Park character. Dumb, but not "warbling around, trying to fist fight everyone at little league games and taking the world's biggest dump" levels of stupid. There was the contrast with the more mild mannered character in situations like the hot tub with Kyle's dad, versus him kinda just turning into sub-Homer levels of moron who is in situations about on par with what you'd expect from someone who is already over the top in their buffoonery.

So Randy has been Flanderized? Sounds like something The Simpsons already did.

You can make fun of most of the shit Randy does and I'll more or less agree. But don't you DARE make fun of Randy trying to take the world's largest shit. Even the greatest of men would give themselves a pat on the back and smile if they dropped a huge load.
If Abe Lincoln took a 10 pound dump, you damn well know that he'd round up everybody in the White House to come check it out. And he'd probably have somebody paint a picture of it.

Much like The Simpsons and Family Guy, I think SouthbPark has run its course and needs to be put to rest.

South park is still good but they need to tone down the politics a little.
