I think it's fair to classify the likes of Derpster, Lyra, Bob Diddly Bon Bon Bon as regulars now rather than background Ponies.
Sure they still get used for that role but they now have character and it's all our fault!

Yikes...but no biggie, the actual show also had some pretty f'd-up faces in freeze-frame.
Also, just now noticed it. If they used that tiara design in the actual show, I would not have problems with it.
It looks far better than the pointed brass knucks design in the show.

The sphinx kitty just needs a big belly rub, then she'll be as sweet as apple pie.
Also never knew that the famous riddle sphinx was actually a Greek mythological beast.
Until this episode hit, I always thought sphinxes all came from Egypt.
