I honestly don't even treat that belt as a title in WWE. It's just a reason to have current WWE stars fight Brock. It's a prop for as long as they want to use him which unless he goes back to the UFC looks like another few years at least.

So for shits and giggles (and let's be honest, humor will be the only thing to get us through this reign), I decided to look up every 1000+ day World title reign since the inception of the NWA in 1948. Here's when Brock passes each of those milestones:
Pedro Morales - January 25th, 2020

I really don't understand what they get out of this (besides sweeping Punk under the rug I guess).
They're paying him so much f***ing money but how is it helping anything? They've had all these chances to use him to "crown" Roman again but passed on it time and time again. Does he really get crazy ratings or buyrates? I don't follow it that closely but isn't everything at an all time low since the attitude era?
