With the NES and SNES Classic, the next one would probably be the N64. So what game would you like to see on it. Im trying to be realistic on my because I know Goldeneye 007, No Mercy and the Rare games outside of DK64 are probably not going to be on there but here my list. Also I try to limit it to 20 games with 3 of them being third party games and some alt. Choices too on some of the titles.
Super Mario 64 LOTZ Ocarina Of Time LOTZ Majora Mask Star Fox 64 Mario Kart 64
Donkey Kong 64 F-Zero X Kirby 64 Mario Party 2 or 3 Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2
Pokemon Snap Super Smash Bros Sin and Puishment Paper Mario Yoshi Story
Mario Golf or Tennis Wave Race 64 or 1080 Snowboarding Mega man 64 Rayman 2 Mischief Marker

Can we not have Rare games? Because I'd definitely have Goldeneye, Blastcorps, and Diddy Kong Racing (in place of mario kart)
I'd put Turok in there too.
Also, is LOTZ an actual acronym for Zelda, or a typo?

However, as no video game company presently has said license (Activision abandoned it in 2013) it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Nintendo could renew the license for the purposes of including Goldeneye. Diddy Kong Racing is potentially useable, albeit with the removal of Banjo and Conker, as those characters are owned by Microsoft. The game was released on the DS five years after Rare were bought by Microsoft with those two characters removed, so it’s possible. Blast Corps, Perfect Dark, Bad Fur Day, and Banjo-Kazooie are all Microsoft-owned now, so short of Nintendo working out some kind of deal I wouldn’t hold your breath for them.

I think it'll be 14 games, with region exclusives.
*Super Mario 64 *Mario Kart 64 *Mario Party *Mario Golf *Super Smash Bros. *LOZ Ocarina of Time *LOZ Majora's Mask *Pokemon Stadium 2 *Star Fox 64 *Paper Mario *Kirby 64 *F-Zero 64
West gets Mega Man 64 & Castlevania 64 Japan gets Animal Forest & Ganbare Goemon 64
Ideally, I'd like to see EarthBound 64 in this game if it was ever close to completion. I don't see Rare games being put here, and while I know people will demand WWF No Mercy, that won't happen, either.

Doom 64 would be a nice addition too.
I was trying to think of a cool exclusive release for it ala Star Fox 2, but unless Nintendo's got some semi-completed version of the N64 Mother 3 somewhere, I couldn't think of anything.

Miyamoto himself stayed the game was cancelled at around 30% complete, so I can’t see there being anything worth releasing. Keep in mind that development was constantly stopped and restarted on a different platform - first the SNES, then the N64, then the 64DD, then back to the N64, then the GC, before eventually being completed on the GBA, and each one with a different game engine built from the ground up. Of the 30% it’s very likely that most of it is the engine itself and the assets, rather than actual content. More likely is that the exclusives will be things like the 64DD expansion for F-Zero X and the Ocarina of Time Master Quest.

I think they need to strike some pretty significant deals with third parties for the N64 Classic. It'd be amazing if they could get a WWF and a WCW game on it, but that sounds like it might riddled with all kinds of licensing issues (and I'm not sure how it'd work with the WWF logo - I think that would be okay as long as it is marketed as "WWE No Mercy" and had the logo changed on advertising). I feel like it needs Goldeneye, too. And that means they'd definitely have to sell some more controllers for it since it has 4 ports.
EDIT: Man, it'd be so awesome if they hired a small studio to just make Mario 64 2. I know there was some work put into the DD game we never saw, and it's not like Mario has tons of story elements. It'd just be a simple platformer with a few new mechanics using the same engine. I bet that would be a HUGE selling point.

The Rare games are in the Rare replay game. But I got a feeling it would mostly be Mario

Yeah unless they cut a big check to Rare wouldn't expect to see any of their games Not even Rare. Rare still developed and published for Nintendo’s handhelds until just a few years ago. Since then Microsoft gutted Rare and turned them into purely an in-house development studio, so Nintendo would have to cut Microsoft a cheque. Microsoft aren’t likely to be keen on that, since all of Rare’s N64 titles are sold on Xbox Live. If the N64 Classic happens, it’ll almost certainly be a mostly first party lineup of games. The N64 was where Nintendo really started to struggle with third party support, which is compounded by the companies that committed to them most at this point in time now being either out of business (Acclaim, Midway, Ocean, and THQ being the most notable) or in bed with Microsoft or Sony.

They put Donkey Kong Country on the SNES Classic and that's a Rare game. It's not unlikely at least the Donkey Kong Rare games get on. I think they need to strike some pretty significant deals with third parties for the N64 Classic. Didn't they release No Mercy to the Virtual Console with an updated roster? It would be viable that a No Mercy game with the current-day roster could be viable if that were the case.

I wouldn't even want it without WCW/NWO Revenge and WWF No Mercy on it.

Also I expect we see a gameboy/advance classic before a 64 one I’m hoping Nintendo will partner up with Sega and release a Genesis Classic. Sega were happy enough to allow a license for the godawful POS that currently carries the Genesis branding, so I’m fairly certain they’d work with Nintendo on a high quality release with all the fanfare that would entail. Didn't they release No Mercy to the Virtual Console with an updated roster? It would be viable that a No Mercy game with the current-day roster could be viable if that were the case. There’s been a ton of fan mods with updated rosters, arenas, titles, etc. but never an official update or Virtual Console release. www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5hlw4GEUE4
