How does a league allegedly young and deep and loaded basically get walked over by a freaking 34 year old again? What the f*** does his age have to do anything? He's a once in a lifetime talent with freak of nature genetics

Shaq was 34 when he won a title in 2006.
MJ was 35 when he became scoring champ for the tenth time and won his last title in 1998.
It isn't something we haven't seen before.

I kind of get where he's coming from. For someone of LeBron's size, skill set, and basketball IQ he should be dominating everyone. Like he should be driving to the hoop seeing as no one can stop him and dunking it everytime.
Although you can tell all of those games, his high octane style of play, and physicality(at least with him driving to the paint) has taken a toll and he doesn't same explosiveness that he once had.

His game is more put his head down and run to the basket than it was previously LeBron doesn't have that quick first step like he used to but it's still better than majority of the people in the league What people haven't really given attention to is his defense. He's no longer one of the better defenders in the league as far as being a shut down defender is concerned. He's channeling his energy in different ways and is still the best player in the game but you can start to pick holes

www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/22533730/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers-says-idea-re-seeding-playoffsI agree and disagree with LeBron. Yes, there is something to be said about East vs West champs but in saying that I think having the 16 best teams in the playoffs is something people have wanted for a while even going back a few years ago when you had every team in the West win 50 games to make it into the playoffs but a Hawks team in the East didn't even crack 40 wins and made the playoffs The cynic in me says he wants to continue to coast in a weak conferences without stars to match him but LBJ is a competitor so I won't sell him short in that regard

*Conspiracy Theory*
Failed PED Test has to sit the season out and Basketball is going the Tennis Route where player's get Phantom Injuries instead of having a big star exposed.

I was skeptical about the rumblings that Kawhi wants out but I don't know anymore It just comes across as weird considering Kawhi's attitude but maybe he is more high maintenance than we see I mean we shall see going into next season how he reacts so I will give him the benefit of the doubt but these stories coming out over the last few months don't seem good Spurs won't air their dirty laundry but whatever the issue is needs to be worked out if there is any

People want it for the NHL, too. Not gonna heppen there either. Too much of the playoffs is the TV schedule. And as much as teams in the Midwest hate starting playoff games at 8:30 or West Coast teams get screwed on start times, you will never, ever, ever see an East Coast team start a playoff game at 9 pm. They're too pampered, man. And you have so many East Coast teams and the playoffs are all about double-headers. You have to have X amount of games in both halves of the country to get start times in line. Once you f*** up that formula by having a bunch of teams from one coast or having say a bunch of better record Western teams when the series all shift back East, you're donzo. Great idea in theory, but the business side of it says the fans stay in their lane. The more I read about Silver, the more I think that guy is a friggin dope. Also, Cuban got fined $600,000 for talking about how the Philadelphia 76ers have run their organization for the last 7 years. I know that's small potatoes to an NBA team and a billionaire, but you're only doing that to keep up appearances. Silver was JUST f'n talking about new draft rules that would deter tanking at the start of the season, so you not only know it goes on, but that it is becoming a problem in that people are exploiting it. Someone talks openly about it, and that's a fine. YOU talked openly about it, ya dumb jag.

Also the travel would be a bitch if you get a team like Minnesota and they have to go against ATL in the first or 2nd round In regards to the fine, yes Cuban got fined to keep up appearances. Everyone knew what Philly was doing but they never openly stated they were blatantly putting out a bad team to despite their actions showing so

twitter.com/DonHarris4/status/966698880858492935This is really far from anything official but Don's a pretty reliable San Antonio media person and reported on the Kawhi/SA rift before anything else had come out nationally. This whole thing sucks.

This all seems weird tho Where did the riff come from? The San Antonio Spurs are like the New England Patriots of the NBA as far as consistency goes so it's weird that the star of the franchise wants to leave if he actually does Maybe this could be one of those things where he doesn't want to be the star and just wants to "play ball"

Funny how he talks about the three point shot in this video and how it's pretty much what the game consists of today.
