Cavs going with Kevin Love at center and (presumably) Jae Crowder at power forward. I like it

I would pay a LOT to see Oklahoma City beat GSW in the WCF just to see Durant eat a heaping bowl of crow. Then he'll spend the offseason tweeting condolences and motivational quotes from 2 cent posters to himself.

Just found out earlier preseason games aren't televised. Super sad... I'm looking forward to seeing these young Kings.

I don't think Boston is good enough to dethrone Cleveland from atop the Eastern Conference, but it'll be fun watching them try.
I'm looking forward to seeing a truly elite player in Kyrie Irving, the first time a Celtics team can argue it has a legitimate top-15 player since Paul Pierce in the mid-2000s. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of havoc Irving and Gordon Hayward can wreak on opposing defenses. I'm looking forward to Al Horford being the reliable presence on the team who does all the dirty work and doesn't have to worry about being the team's best player. I'm looking forward to Marcus Smart and Marcus Morris bringing some edge and nastiness to the floor. I'm looking forward to Jaylen Brown developing. I'm looking forward to Jayson Tatum and Semi Ojeleye and Guerschon Yabusele getting a chance to prove something in their rookie seasons.
It should be a fun year. Like I said, I don't expect them to knock off the Cavaliers, but they'll make a run at them. Plus, there's some legitimate animus between Irving and LeBron James, so it's nice that there's an old-fashioned rivalry in the NBA again, that everyone's not buddy-buddy with one another because they go back to their AAU days. Because even when the Celtics and Heat were clashing in the earlier part of the decade, there wasn't actual resentment on the floor, until Ray Allen left. But now, I'm looking forward to seeing how Irving will try to prove he's an alpha.

Bought a ticket to the first preseason game. Super cheap, so I couldn't resist.

So Lakers maybe just use this year to clear up cap space so you can get Lebron next year?
'Cause fn Ingram and Randle won't take us nowhere.

Jae is a great perimeter shooter, and they should want that lineup to get a lot of run this season.

Oh don't get me wrong, the Kev Love at Center line up is def my lineup against the Warriors but for the overall season I think they should stick to Love, Thompson line up unless TT has shown his game has fell off to the point he's better off the bench

De'Arron Fox is freaking electric. George Hill is going to have to be damn good to hold him off.

Hill is the perfect guy to have in front of him. Good enough that Fox will start behind him on the depth chart and have to play pretty well to beat out, but not good enough to keep Fox down if he starts to show out. And he's kinda a combo guard anyway, so that's always an option.

Well, looks like the NBA (kinda sorta) found a way to get around the "all the stars are in the West" thing for the All Star game. It will now have two captains selecting teams, regardless of what conference players are in. The two players with the most fan votes (yes, I'm being serious) will be the captains. Although, it should be noted that there will still be 12 players from each conference.

I don't have very high hopes for my Spurs this year (and by high hopes I mean championship) but will be rooting all year regardless. The team on paper looks worse than last year and the west is soooo stacked but we have Pop and Kawhi so we'll make it work.

Pop will throw a dart on a board with all the D-league talent and bring up somebody that'll be an All Star in a couple years.
