Zach Lowe apparently says the Vlade taking Bagley, calling him a 3, and saying we're a young superteam is the new rock bottom for Sacramento. Also the Philly pick swap trade is the most lopsided in NBA since he's been covering, even worse than the Nets/Celtics winner. Lol. I hope Dallas signs Boogie so I can just root for them. I'm not even a Kings fan and I hate Vlade. I think his incompetence actually gets rewarded by the owner. My theory is Vlade being awful takes the attention off of him having a reputation as a meddling owner who's also a basketball idiot (4 on 5 with an all-time basket-hanger! NBA 3.0! POSITIONLESS BASKETBALL!) So he gets to stay.

Oh. Here's my free agency prediction.
Vlade outbids himself probably 3 times over giving Mario Hezonja 40+million dollars.

People at Barclays were clearly looking for attention even the kid from a few years ago with Porzingis. Knox can ball and he can step in right away and contribute Sure Porter could be a massive game changer but that back injury is too scary to invest in at number 9
After the first 10 picks of the draft, selections 11 through 60 are essentially rolls of the dice. There's no sure things that late in the draft and teams aren't exactly seeking gamechangers, so you're just drafting with the hope that the player will pan out. With that said, I really like taking Michael Porter Jr. at number 14. It's a risk, given his health, but before his back injury, he was a fairly consensus no. 1 pick heading into the 2017-18 season. He's clearly got the talent, and back injuries are especially risky, but if he can stay healthy, he has the skills necessary to be a solid second option for Denver behind Nikola Jokic. That's the difference between drafting Greg Oden first overall and taking Porter at 14. When you're drafting that high, you have to hit and injury risks are an enormous consideration. But when you're choosing 14th, you're given a little more leeway and there's more room for error. Correct. It's risk vs reward and at 14 he's well worth the risk when if healthy for the season he would have probably been a top 3 pick if not number 1
As I said with my Knicks squad I like Knox a lot and can't blame them for not taking Porter at number 9. They rolled the dice last year (thanks Phil) and choose Frank over Dennis and that's going to come back to turn us I believe since Dennis has at least an Eric Bledsoe type path while I think Frank will be a decent NBA player but not someone you can rely on
Being in Denver is probably the best thing for Porter as they are a team who really doesn't falter too badly. He'll get time to get healthy with no expectations which for him is a very big thing. Him, Murray, Harris, and Jokic can be a dangerous bunch at some point and that's not even including Paul Milsap who they got on the roster right now. Those 4 can be their homegrown talent for years to come if it all pans out

Speaking of Nuggets they will decline Jokic team option to sign him to a long term deal
He was due to make a little under 2 mill this year and if he signs the max it will be over $140 million

Ok this is my opinion. If LBJ is serious about chasing Jordan then the only option is Houston with CP3 and Harden. If he wants to become a media mogul then he goes to the Lakers. If it's what's best for his family then he stays in Cleveland.

If he's willing to play off the ball more and be in a system where he wouldn't have to do to much it's Houston
If he wants to be The guy and still play the same it's Lakers or Cavs
If he's willing to teach and be the guy it's Philly
Of course family consideration plays a big part but all those destinations are good city wise

The King apparently wanted to rest his body so he went to Miami and then he returned to Cleveland so he wouldn't be the first option, unfortunately for him he still was the first option lol. I can't see him with a young team, he never liked playing with young guys so that's why Wiggins got traded, with Harden and Paul he has two veterans that run the point so he doesn't have to do everything.

Exactly/ For all intents and purposes Houston is the no brainier destination for him but I can't help but wonder if he's willing to change enough to accommodate the system. CP3 showed he was willing to change and it worked but will LeBron start to complain when he doesn't like things D'antoni does
Honestly, it can be as simply as LeBron is the horse for the first 3 quarters and Harden is the closer with his dagger 3s. But LeBron can even be a closer now that his jumpshot has to be guarded. If LeBron is willing to feed off of Harden and James does a lot more cutting now than he did before this team could be dangerous
You don't want a repeat of Year 1 Miami LeBron where he's standing in the corner waiting to shoot 3s tho but I don't think you would have to worry about that in Houston. Everybody would have to sacrifice a bit but imagine the possibilities of having a fast break down court with CP3 with the ball and Harden and James running with someone like Gordon trailing to

Honestly I also get the feeling that that menas he's already narrowed down the field on the places he's willing to entertain going to. Waiting to see what moves the Cavs are able to do and if the Lakers actually sign other big free agents this Summer.

No disrespect to Anthony Davis but Westbrook is more deserving to be a finalist than him.
Harden still gonna win the MVP though.

Davis carried this team to the playoffs without Cousins for the stretch and Westbrook numbers while great do have an effect of stat padding
Harden wins though with no problem so the other 3 guys really don't matter

Ok averaging a triple double in a season is impossible, doing it back to back seasons? It's legendary. Say what you want about him being selfish or incapable of winning but Westbrook deserves the recognition.

However, Westbrook is the victim of his own success in that regard. His triple doubles in his MVP were legendary but last season didn't have anywhere near the impressiveness as before which is crazy to say when you average triple double for a 2nd season

I made the mistake of having Sacramento radio on when I was in the car.
And the Kings media propaganda station is gutless and depressing. We have Grant Napear screaming about how Vlade's a good GM who knows what he's doing, made a great move trading DMC, the Kings will be knocking on the door of the playoffs and earn the respect of all the writers by the end of the season, and heaven help you if disagree with him. He'll either not take your phone call or cut you off and scream at you for being a moron for disagreeing.

If this was the East i'd say knocking on the playoff door for the 8th seed is possible but in the West where it takes damn near 50 wins to get an 8th seed that's crazy
What type of shit was he smoking
