Just read a fanfic where Pinkie was not a pony, but was actually 8 changelings who created the pony named Pinkie Pie.
Very good and creative story I have to say.

I hope you are not angry with me for this episode idea next season, Retro...
In the Mistmane/Rarity episode next season, after Mistmane and Rarity defeat the Fake Rarity, Rarity sacrifices her beauty to rectify the damage her doppelganger caused.
A while later, her doppelganger reappears and, moved by her original's generosity, gives her own beauty for Rarity so that Rarity stays as before.
