Only one word to describe this... Love the old Scooby Doo meets Batman cartoons, and whatever gets us more Brave and the Bold is also a major thumbs up from me.

It's not Season 4 of Brave and the Bold but any excuse for them to find a way to continue it, I'm down.

As long as it doesn't follow the shitty formula that the movies have used for the past decade and a half, it should he interesting. And before people get on me for railing on Scooby Doo, the formula is this;
*The "host" of the event/contest/party invites the gang in the first minute, usually after a Mystery Van mishap *The gang wander around and meet up with every character in the following five minutes. Also, if the culprit is a female, Daphne immediately idolizes her. *Mishaps occur that are often with intent to kill but the main problem that is hammered home is Shaggy & Scooby lose their meal. *Exposition dump. *The plot progresses to its central location. *More exposition, followed by another monster sighting. Sometimes the gang besides our iconic duo are fighting amongst each other, with Fred being an idiot, and Velma being jealous of Daphne. *They set up a trap. Trap always fails. *Everybody improvises a new plan that works. *Guy in the mask is revealed. Velma, despite being in the dark for much of the film, suddenly explains their elaborate plan in detail, including parts where she was nowhere near the incident. *Go back to opening joke, end movie.
I know that sounds like me just intentionally crapping on the series, but when something becomes paint by numbers, it gets painful to watch, especially since Cartoon Network recycles these movies as late morning filler, while you have to have Boomerang for the good stuff.

I want Gentleman Ghost to show up, a regular from the series, and the gang have some "series of mirrors" explanation, but Batman just replies with, "No, he's actually a ghost. I have to hit him with Nth metal knuckles."

Screw this, I want a Beware the Batman continuation. I want to know what happened to evil Sapphire Stagg and Lady Gaga Magpie and if Bruce and Ava Kirk were able to make things work.

I kinda wish they would find a way to re-introduce Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog into this. They'd fit really well with the Scooby gang and the Brave and the Bold style. Of course, I might be one of the only ones who actually enjoyed those characters, so what do I know?

But...isn't that the exact same formula the original show used? For some reason, I enjoy the original stuff but strongly dislike the direct to video films of today. Also, the stakes were lower. Usuly, they wanted the treasure or the land for development, as opposed to potentially murdering people, which makes the casual arrest look dumb.

Seems like the movie is getting some decent reviews. Anyone plan on watching it?

This will be the 1st Scooby Doo movie I am looking fwd to. B&tB was incredibly fun and I think even Scooby Doo will fall into working w/ this very well. The movie is also digging a smidge into the Timmverse, it seems, as {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Jeffrey Combs is credited as playing the Question in this.

I plan on watching this eventually still.
Brave and the Bold is up there as one of my favorite versions of Batman.

I plan on watching this eventually still. Brave and the Bold is up there as one of my favorite versions of Batman. Same. As I said before in this thread, any excuse for more B&TB, I’m down for. Even if they made it WWE B&TB (because after WrestleMania Mystery, the quality of those things dropped), I’d still watch it because Brave and the Bold.

I plan on watching this eventually still. Brave and the Bold is up there as one of my favorite versions of Batman. I remember, a couple years before it ended, I watched 1 episode - the Atom/Aquaman/Chemo/Brain ep. I was mortified. It just hit every single wrong note, for some reason. It was kinda like a hater's encounter with Batman '66. I was done. Years later I watched the last episode or 2, and they were fun. A few months after that my gf and I needed to bulk up the Netflix queue and this was part of it. .....by the end of binging season 1 I had gone out and bought it all on DVD. HOOKED FOR LIFE.

Aquaman had better be in it. With speaking parts.

Bought this on Tuesday. It's a lot of fun. Aquaman got a hearty laugh out of me.
I've never been a Scooby Doo fan, so this was totally a Batman purchase for me. And as a fan of BATB, it did NOT disappoint.
DVD also includes the old Scooby Doo Meets Batman episodes from the 70s.

Bad form, DC.

I have always wondered why people hate Scrappy so much? I am 33 and loved him growing up...I thought the tiny little hot head was hilarious
