I have always wondered why people hate Scrappy so much? I am 33 and loved him growing up...I thought the tiny little hot head was hilarious Not entirely sure, I never disliked him and despite popular belief Scrappy saved the show. It was on the edge of being canceled before he debuted. Flim Flam on the other hand deserves all the hate...

Like the creators and everyone else legit hate the character...I was pissed that they made him the villain of the first movie...I thought it was refreshing that the little guy would actually go head on towards the monsters and would always have to be held back...

Scrappy saved the show for a while but it wasn’t long (I think it was 2-3 years or so?) before it got cancelled.
My personal problem, in heinsight, was that he was such a one note character, you really couldn’t do much with him outside of provoke villains. Like, at least with Shaggy and Scooby, you could have them wear costumes and eat different food or whatever and I’m not saying they’re wonderful fleshed our characters (until Mystery Incorperated obviously) but Scrappy just wondered why he couldn’t punch everyone every. single. time. It got really tedious.
But yeah, Flim Flam’s probably one of the most unnessesary sidekick in TV history. He’s not the worst but he’s up there.

Didn't Mystery Incorporated did a "What If" on Flim Flam and said he got arrested and is in jail because he never let go of his street life

The Siren Song is the Episode, First Season Description off the Scooby Doo wiki "While on a date with Fred at the Crystal Cove Spook Museum, Daphne Blake spotted the statue of Flim-Flam, commenting on his jail sentence for 25 to life, allegedly for a major con he pulled" I knew I wasn't imagining this episode

Mystery Incorporated was good It sort of gets lost in the shuffle of Scooby Doo series because of how many came out during that time period
