Just got NJPW World. This will be my first time ever watching NJPW, going in completely blind. I basically did that with WK 9, and it did a solid job of getting me more and more into the product. Still, I'd recommend checking out the new English language YouTube channel NJPW put up, it has some preview videos and whatnot that might give you an idea of some of the stuff going on in a few of the matches. A number of them are straightforward, simple challenges (e.g. Roppongi 3K are the Jr. tag champs, young and newly returned to the promotion, and the Young Bucks are the most decorated Jr. tag team of all time, so a challenge made sense), but there might be some interesting subtext behind some of these matches and having a bit of that info can make it even more interesting.

Kazuchika Okada now holds the record for most days combined as IWGP Heavyweight Champion, breaking Hiroshi Tanahashi's record of 1,358 days

EDIT: changed whole post: So I just got NJPW World, but I can't get any videos to play on it. It's not a browser issue, every other video/streaming service works fine, just not NJPWWorld's vids. Anybody got any idea how I can fix this? I found using Google Chrome works best if that helps. Also using the lower quality option as well as there doesn’t seem to be much difference. I got my Wrestle Kingdom tickets today from the NJPW Shop (thank you again for the help people), I was excited before but really excited now!! As for predictions, in my uneducated opinion these guys will win: Naito (as it makes sense) Omega (though if Jericho wins and sticks around I wouldn’t be upset) White (to give Tanahashi a well deserved rest) Scurll (not long won it, keeps the division fresh) Roppongi 3K (to rebuild the junior tag division) Ibushi (as I see no reason for Cody to win as he’s not full time (to my knowledge)) Suzuki (so Goto can have a redemption arc) Bullet Club (I have no reason for this one, apart from they are a “proper” team Either way, so excited for this. It’ll be my 3rd wrestling show (TNA at Orlando, and a RAW house show in Birmingham) and I suppose my first major event. I honestly forgot to try Chrome somehow, was using Firefox. Working like a dream now cheers. I'm going to spend far too much time tonight marathoning NJPW World in preparation, but I've got the day off tomorrow anyway. Can't remember when I was last so hyped for a wrestling show.

I finally got around to watching Okada vs Shibata, that match is mind blowingly good.
Also, Okada vs Slex from MCW was a pleasant surprise.

Can you use NJPW World on Xbox One & watch WK12 on that? The Edge browser works on Xbox, that's what I use.

Tomoaki Honma has been doing well and may recently been cleared by doctors to compete I'm hearing so he maybe a surprise entry in the New Japan Rumble Man, not angry or anything, but could you please spoiler tag something like that? That's a potentially big moment that could be emotional for some folks, would be nice to keep it a surprise if it does indeed happen. Again, I know you're just relaying news so I'm not bashing you, but you know what I mean.

Shibata vs Okada was my favorite match of the year, just sad about what happened to Shibata. Wasn't watching when it happened, and knowing the aftermath I don't feel comfortable watching it. Which is a shame, Shibata was clearly such a talent and had such a great character within the NJPW story. Also, 12 hours left y'all!

Pipe burst in the building I work at so rest of this week is likely working from home which
1) means WK12 obsessiveness won't affect my appearance in the office
BUT
2) working from home makes it that much harder to concentrattttttttte

I'd technically be able to stay up to watch it, but I think I'm going to hold off and wait for Friday when I can have a friend over here to watch it with me (if it'll be on-demand by then).

I thought Nagata was retired, I keep seeing people in this thread saying he'll be in the NJ Rumble, but I thought they said that last year's Rumble would be his last.
Asking because I'm trying to figure out if I should include him in my Sim.
