Never heard Xmas shoes. But I haven't bother with listening to the radio since 96. Oh to live in a reality without Christmas shoes I haven't heard it on the radio in awhile though, thank goodness It surprises people all the popular songs since the mid 90s I have never heard.

While searching the Apple Music library I was surprised how many musicians/bands have released Christmas music.. some finds:
The Kinks - Father Christmas Keith Richards - Run Rudolph Run Jethro Tull - Ring out Soltice Bells Tori Amos - Winter The Darkness - Christmas Time (don’t let the bells end) .. I think that’s a dick joke on the title. Pet Shop Boys - it doesn’t snow often at Christmas
And I think Christmas Shoes is the worst Christmas song ever written.

If you ever had the misfortune to listen to Christmas Shoes then I suggest you YouTube search Patton Oswalt’s stand up piece on it (pick the one with accompanying animation).
“THIS IS WHAT VIETMAN DID TO ME!”

Of the course one of the essential Christmas Albums is “A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector”
Don’t let the album name be off putting. It does not contain ‘Bullet In The Head’ by Rage Against The Machine... sorry I’ll take my leave.

Add Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight) by the Ramones to this list. And I too looked up Christmas shoes. As soon as I read the lyrics...

I want to make a comment about Christmas TV movies. There is always something about these movies that really draw me to them. Yes, I know that they are cheesy, and yes, I see that some follow similar premises. For example, a woman who works for a small company meets this attractive guy who is loaded because his family owns a bigger company. They fall in love in the end, for sure, but the rich guy's family sometimes saves the small company's business by buying them out. It's weird, as corny as a lot of them are, they do kind of help me get more in the Christmas spirit.

Snowstorm today, so naturally I would figure out the last part of my boyfriend's gift :/ Got some gifts wrapped, but still feel like I need to get more, to "even out" family gifts. I'm doing the advent reading in church, tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that, since I have always enjoyed that.

Well, one of the upsides of being at work tonight is that we're rerunning Rudolph and Frosty (and Frosty returns, but we don't talk about that), so I won't miss them this year.

Hows everyone feel bout batman returns as a christmas movie? "Good will toward men... and women." Classic line, excellent Christmas movie.

Hows everyone feel bout batman returns as a christmas movie? Depends if your definition of Christmas movie includes "movies set at Christmas" Other than the time of year and some puns, it isn't really a Christmas movie. Fits in under Die Hard rules though.
