Two problems here...
1: Ziggler getting a US Title shot out of nowhere
2: No Women's Title shot for Riott despite pinning Flair
Unless Shane or Daniel put a rule in banning the Riott Squad from ringside, I can easily see them ruining that title match as well.

Yep. Add English & Rusev. Make it a fatal four way. Add Tye for the US title. Make it a four way. I assume Ruby will factor in the women's match. I swear... SDL really doesn't give a shit that half their roster goes in. Tye and Rusev have done nothing since the callup. I can only assume, again, that Nakamura is being kept off TV in an an attempt to rehab him.

Can you imagine paying for Shinsuke Nakamura, hyping him up like he was the second coming in wrestling, and then "eh, creative doesn't really know what to do with you." At least Shinsuke is happy, I guess. He just wanted to work in WWE so he could say he did is my understanding.

Not even that, debuting them as a big deal, having them lose on the bigger stages and making them look like a goober, THEN turning around and saying "Well, we have nothing for you. The damage was done so take a couple of weeks off TV". And they wonder why stars are a struggle to be made anymore.

If Nakamura needs a TV break for “booking rehab”, then basically the rest of that entire roster does as well. I mean, was one pseudo-clean loss to Mahal and being eliminated first in the Survivor Series main event really enough to warrant it?
If it helps him in the long run, then great, but Nakamura’s not necessarily the first guy I’d think of to take off of TV to rest off some booking.

Oh sure, he's still treated like somewhat of a big deal but it feels like this stuff always falls into the same pattern to establish a "place" for them. Like, it feels like they have to deliberately break a toy before they know the toy's quality when it comes back from being fixed.

Since Wyatt owes WWE a PPV appearance have him go to Smackdown and put Nakamura over. Would have built it over more weeks mind but struggling to think what else Nakamura can do. Tag with Orton against Owens & Zayn? Is there a top heel Nakamura can beat? Bring back Cena have Nakamura go over him again?

Thing is, I don't think they care about others enough to keep them off TV for the sake of rehabilitation. They care about Nakamura. At least if he's gonna face Styles in this big dream match at some point, they care that the shine isn't off of him completely by the time they pull the trigger on it. And yeah... that whole Mahal feud and his subpar performances, both on the mic and in the ring, both his fault and not, dude kinda needs to get his shine back up. It worked wonders for Sasha to keep her away, twice, last year. They might as well try it here.

The easy answer would be to present him as viable contender to start building towards Styles v Nakamura, at either the Rumble or Wrestlemania. It's a money match, Styles isn't getting younger, and Nakamura may eventually decide to head back to Japan. Pull the trigger now and get your Wrestlemania buys while everyone is still talking about the match on Twitter.

Well yeah I would assume that's the plan but this is WWE were talking about and the WWE Title match at Mania could easily be Mahal v Cena. We might get Styles v Nakamura but don't necessarily think it will be for the title. It should be but as I said.....WWE.

The triple threat tag sounds fun. The US Title match sounds like ass. Nattie/Charlotte is almost always terrible. At least AJ/Jinder was really good last time.

Get the US title off of Corbin asap.
Roode vs. Nakamura at Royal Rumble. That will bring some prestige back to the United States Championship.

On a sidenote, didn't Gable and Benjamin win a number one contenders match? Why are they getting their shot in a triple threat?

So, if Corbin loses, I guess he was just a transitional champion who got to beat the Miz.
