Man, as WWE opens the door to their backstage goings on and uses it as an extension of their product, dirt sheets really are being phased out. I wonder if Meltzer is getting worried? I also am surprised WWE took this long to really start doing it.

If true, this can either mean Sami started whatever got them heat...KO started it, but Sami keeps it up...or they both caused it and Sami won't stop.
...and we still don't even know that that is. It could all be made up garbage for all we know.

Well, apparently when Sami turned heel Vince told him he shouldn't change anything about his character because now it would come across as annoying. So my guess is Sami annoys the f*** out of Vince.

I doubt it; they don't really open up that much in practice, and there's always going to be control and spin on the information that they allow out willingly. Especially when they try to work us with that information, there's always going to be something to be said for a voice who can cut through the shit and report on what's really happening.

Owens is reading the dirt sheets:
Zayn: are you hot? Owens: I am not.

Zayn still has heat because he just annoys everyone without even meaning to do it.

PWInsider had something similar late last week. Basically they see a major star with KO so he's more easily forgivem than Sami who they don't see at that level.

Yeah, for all the talk of Enzo's news being a work about him being hated backstage, they've mentioned the bus story once and literally no other time. Like, if they tried to bring people backstage in videos and everyone's pissed off, I'd be more likely to believe that but it seems to be the WCW thing of "mention it once, hope the crowd gives a shit, crowd doesn't give a shit because they don't read the dirt sheets and move on".

I don't buy any of this. If Zayn had heat he wouldn't have had the winning pinfall in a 2 on 3 (including the entire SDL roster) handicap lumberjack match. Whatever heat he had was paid off in that stiff Trouble in Paradise from Kofi and that should just about even things out.

Maybe hold off on the report until you have more to say. The vagueness of some of this is always a little annoying.

In Kevin's doc (and I'm pretty sure his shoots as well) he has mentioned that one of the things that makes people dislike Sami is the same reason he likes him, and that's the fact Sami always has ideas. However, the way he puts them across is he gets super excited when someone is explaining how they want a match to go, but he always interjects with "Okay but what if we did this?" "How about if we did it like this instead?" "Okay, but what if after this, we did this?" Which is fine, he's enthusiastic, and in an independent group it just comes off as mildly irritating to the rest of the people in the match while they're putting it together. However, when you have everything as obscenely produced and micromanaged as it is in WWE with producers, agents, and writers all co-mingling together with the wrestlers to try to get what they need across... and all of them do it with the same underlying reason, "Don't make Vince mad." It can come across as VERY annoying and frustrating, because while Sami is just trying to get the best out of the match or segment, the people who's asses are on the line for it keep having bells go off in their head that Vince will have their heads if they don't try to shut Sami down eventually.
In that, I think Sami is fine with the locker room, but the people who are responsible for his segments/matches may not be overly fond of him and with that, that might filter through to Vince where he starts to really dislike Sami as well.
This is just my opinion trying to make sense of it all, if it's indeed true.
On the other hand, a lot of these problems with heat seem to tie in a little to perfectly with their changes in attitudes and their storyline on TV so it may very well just be an extension of the gimmick and a blurring of the line. It honestly seems like something they would love to do, as these days it's a major challenge to blur those lines.
