Mixed Nuts-Had never seen or heard of it. Got it as part of a multipak and my lady told me I had to watch it. And now I make sure to watch it every Xmas. Silent Night Deadly Night 1 thru 5 8 Crazy Nights-Yes I am one of the few that loves this movie.

These days it sounds like I'm being a bandwagon jumper by saying so, but still LOVE A Christmas Story.

I do miss when you'd see it on Thanksgiving night then sporadically until Christmas, though. And if I think it's too "popular" now, I can console myself saying I was there with my fandom from the beginning, pretty much.

Some of the ones already mentioned plus Kiss Kiss Bang Bang KKBB is a very close second on my list. If I want action, Die Hard. If I want to laugh, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Favourite actual Christmas film : The Muppet Christmas Carol Favourite film that is set at Christmas but isn’t actually a Christmas film : Die Hard
And to explain that, here’s my argument as to why Die Hard isn’t a Christmas film. It wouldn’t feel wrong to watch Die Hard on a hot July evening but it would feel wrong to watch Muppet Christmas Carol then. If Die Hard is a Christmas film then so is Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys (even if Shane Black does have a hard-on for Christmas).

Some of the ones already mentioned plus Kiss Kiss Bang Bang If KKBB counts as a Christmas movie, that one's definitely my favorite.

Scrooged, if only for Murray's ending monologue, that for once deviated from the bullshit selfless love shtick.

Couldn't agree more with this one. A lot of the lines in this film are HYSTERICAL. Todd: "Hey Griswold, where are you going to put a tree that big." Clark: "Bend over and I'll show you." Todd: "You got a lot of nerve talking to me like that." Clark: "I wasn't talking to you." (Clark was referring to Todds wide which makes it ten times funnier.) Incidentally, the wife was played by Julia Louis Dreyfuss before she became famous.
