I've got a cd-r filled with mp3s of whatever I was in the mood for at the time I made it currently in the cd player, but I keep a 8 gig USB stick plugged in and just use that. The stuff on it ranges from Muse to Sepultura, Queen to Machine Head.
There's also probably a couple of very scratched cd-r's in the glovebox.

A bunch of Misfits CDs and a CD-R of R&B music. All my Misfits stuff is on record or cassette. Except for Walk Among Us,which somehow got cracked while in it's case. Switched out the GnR CD with my recently aqquired, for the first time owning it on CD,Bad Religion All Ages. Had it on cassette for years. Wasn't even sure if this came out on CD. But it did and was cheap.

I usually use an old ipod with all my music in it, but I do believe Mother Love Bone is currently chilling out in the CD player.

When I started school a few years ago, I knew my commute was gonna get a bit longer, so I wanted to make a bunch of CDs for my car so I wouldn't have to keep changing them out.
I have 4 data discs burned, so I can fit 60-75 songs on each cd. Most of those songs are in full, though I did some edits for anything over 7-8 minutes (with some exceptions). It's pretty great having hundreds of songs at once on cd, though I know most folks can just easily hook up media players or stream their phones these days. It's all in alphabetical order, so I can get a ballpark estimate where a certain band is on one of the 4 discs.

But it was each CD was either everything a band had put out or everything they put out I cared to listen to. But after noticing how cheap and finding actually stuff I wanted locally at thrift stores and Family Dollar I got back into buying CDs. Plus Adam Clark's album reviews got me wanting to buy physical music again.
