Somehow I have a hankering that the break-out characters of Season 8 will be either the hippogriff or the dragon.
I dunno what kind of impressions we already got of Smolder but if she's a different kind of character than Tsundere Ember, I look forward to it.

The only thing kinda sad is going by the released episode titles, that Chryssi plot will only take part in one episode and not be a season-long arc.
