Earthbound. I finally sold my collection off, but I kept my full R.O.B. The Robot set. I had a few high priced games like Lone Ranger for NES and some of those godawful NES bootleg titles that collectors like to snatch up. I think I have Lone Ranger somewhere. It's a highly priced one? Not exceedingly, but a loose bad copy can fetch up to 30 bucks still and one with the box well over 100. Is there some kind of offical site that lists how much games are worth? I've got quite a few old NES, SNES and PS1 games that might be valuable, but I have no idea how valuable. www.pricecharting.com/ will give you an aggregate score of what it's going for across most of the major online selling sites. It's not a very good indicator of what you can get when dealing directly with collectors, but for general pricing, it is useful.

I think the closest I have is Monster Rancher 3 for PS2.

Suikoden 2. not sure it's worth as much now that you can get it on the PSN though.

Based on Pricecharting.com, my ten most valuable SNES games are: Earthbound Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel Ninja Warriors Chrono Trigger 3 Ninjas Kick Back Sparkster Super Adventure Island II Super Mario RPG Packy & Marlon Mega Man Soccer
Of those, I believe Zero is the rarest.

When I collected, my personal victory was finding Earthbound at a pawn shop for $4. Unfortunately, I had to sell everything and now will only buy digital.

My Dark Souls Steelbook, 3000 made. Even used copies like mine are starting to go in the three figures and I expect that will continue to rise.
Strange thing is Zavvi couldn't shift them, I got it in a sale for £20, wish I had bought more copies now.
Oh and the Oddworld Limited Run games for Vita.

Spaced on my now tiny Sega CD collection. Got Snatcher, had it since it came out,and the first Lunar for the Sega CD.
I had a huge Atari 2600 thru the 16 bit era collection, but sold off lots of it when I moved in late 2007.

Probably one of the gold Ocarina of Time cartridges. Not much of a collector.

I don’t have any old video games, but I do have some old computer games. I have Colonization and Mines of Titan and Star Flight and Elite on 3 1/2 inch floppy disk and a few 5 1/4 inch floppies that have god-only-knows-what on them.

I had the climax edition of Bayonetta which came with a model of the Scarborough Fair. Apparently it's super rare and then my sister damaged it.

It seems that the Futurama game for the PS2 is pretty valuable in some areas. Okay, maybe not Stadium Events valuable, but it goes up for an expensive price on Amazon. Which is crazy because I actually remember renting the game back in 2005.
Anyway, at one point, I would say the PS2 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but it seems that the Xbox version has that one beat in terms of rarity. However, the PS2 version of King of Fighters 2002/2003 is definitely a rare find in comparison to the Xbox version, and I had bought the PS2 version months ago online after getting some gift cards for Amazon.

For me the short list would be... Duck Tales 2 (damaged label) Mr. Gimmick (RetroUSB repro, out of print) Saturn Bomberman (no case) OutRun 2006 Coast 2 Coast on X-Box Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete on PS1, including map, hardcover instruction book, pendant/pouch, and sleeve for soundtrack. Doesn't have the soundtrack though. Pokemon Silver still in the original shrinkwrap, completely unopened Also not very rare, but I have Smackdown; Here Comes the Pain unopened and Tecmo Super Bowl complete in box autographed by Blade Braxton and the Midnight Rose. Is there some kind of offical site that lists how much games are worth? I've got quite a few old NES, SNES and PS1 games that might be valuable, but I have no idea how valuable. Some people in a retro collecting group I'm in swear by pricecharting.com, which shows the recent history of prices on eBay and so on. But some people will use that to nickel-and-dime on sales/trades. One particular collector in our group gets pissed if we turn down equal value trades and he'll start sending price charts as if to say "No, you gotta do it, it's an equal trade" and it's like "Dude, I don't freaking want it". He tried to offer me Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2 on Saturn for my (again, damaged label) Duck Tales 2, and I just wasn't interested and he now won't do deals with me. He'll straight up just no-sell any comments I make. I personally go by eBay prices to get a good baseline, but I go through the "Sold" listings only. Just using the prices of live listings are misleading, because you never know if someone is going to legit pay that much. That's also how you get morons claiming your Disney VHS tapes are worth bank or a Sega Genesis is worth $200+, they saw some jabroni asking that much on a "Buy It Now" hoping to fool some gullible shmuck. The "Sold" listings will give you an idea of what people are willing to pay for it. Just be sure to check listings, make sure the conditions of listings match yours, and kinda use that to get an approximation.

Was gifted a copy of Mega Man X3 from my friend Nikki Heyman. She lost some of her collection, and I helped her rebuild it. She gave this to me in return and I almost fainted that day. It's a video game that I will probably never get rid of.
