They missed the part of the plan that involves deploying all personnel to try and wipe Rotten Tomatoes off the Internet.

I mean Geoff really didn't get much of a chance if he's gone.
He was pretty much handed the turd sandwich after Batman V. Superman last year and was told to do something with it...
But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Snyder is gone.

Its the easiest solution! Everybody in Hollywood does it!
Just reboot the reboot.

They need to just put the DC movies on ice besides Wonder Woman. They already threw out their big guns of Batman vs. Superman and Justice League, they didn't get the job done. Flashpoint isn't going to change that. Their momentum's dead and nothing but some time away to regroup is going to bring it back.

I mean Geoff really didn't get much of a chance if he's gone. And he was stretched way too thin. His work in comics, work in the DCTVU, and expecting him to head the film division, is expecting too much of one guy. And you want to fix Superman? Keep like he was in Justice League, and have Grant Morrison consult on all movies that feature Supes.

I can understand why he was in the role he was but he'd need to do it when he's got less on his plate. ESPECIALLY if you're expecting him to write, say, a big 12 issue monthly comic that has wider implications for the comics universe that crosses over with a highly regarded comic series at the same time as literally everything else. But then that's never Geoff's style to back away from that.

Honestly, if you cut out some of the filler issues (even though they're really good filler issues) and have it basically be Superman doing good deeds before the final battle with Lex, that could be a really good Superman movie.

As much as I love Geoff Johns I want him away from the movies (I want his focus on keeping the comics good), Get someone like Paul Dini who has had experience in building a comic book adaption universe.
As for Superman, Start Small (Someone like Metallo or Parasite), Don't make MOS mistake go apocalyptic right off the bat (Plus Zod's plan made no f***ing sense)

Scrap the whole DCEU and just make Arrowverse films. Hell, keep Gal Gadot around since she’s the only one worth keeping at this point

I think Cavill could be a fine Superman but Snyder is an idiot, and from all accounts he actually finally got to BE Superman in Justice League. most of the universes problems I wouldn't put on the cast. I'd put it on Goyer and Snyder... and well Suicide Squad was entirely WB freaking out after they released a trailer that didn't accurately portray the movie at all.

I think one of the things they need to do is deal with the rampant spending.
573 Million Dollars should NOT be a "disappointment" with sane business practices. They need to figure out how the f*** to do just a little more with less.

They need to figure out how the f*** to do just a little more with less. Well it's a disappointment because it's their first big team up movie of all their A-list heroes... so I could understand why they would consider it a disappointment especially since this whole thing was an attempt to be like Marvel... without you know wanting to actually put the work in for it. Same reason why Batman V Superman was a disappointment at 873.3 Mil ... it's Batman and Superman in a movie together for the first time.

It would have partially helped if they had bothered to advertise that Superman was actually in the film, which was never going to be a surprise in this era of media.
Like I said in my review, they should have had the full six-person team united at least 1/3rd into the film. It would have allowed the opportunity for better pacing.

I understand the thought process behind it, but they really needed temper expectations, especially after they were on shaky ground with BvS's sales in their estimation, and that was also bonkers in spending and effectively a teamup film by the end of it. Even Marvel's courting disaster sometimes with their spending, but like you said, they put the work in for it.

The stakes are too high. Every movie is saving the world, saving the universe, demi gods, gods, etc. There is nowhere to go anymore except event crossovers. Scaling back would tell good stories but we have seen the cross over characters in justice leage fighting gods. Would people show up in theaters to watch another small possible origin story with metallo or luthor? They screwed up the follow up. Man of steel 2 could have been about the supermen imposters leading to superman to return just in time for justice league.

Anything under $1 Billion is a disappointment for them

What's really dumb is that they did show Superman in the early press releases and everyone knew about the CGI Mustache removal despite him never being advertised as being in the movie... but there is the other part of... they didn't earn the Death and Return of Superman. Superman never got a chance to be the beacon of Hope in the movies... he was the prick that didn't care through Man of Steel and then pretty much gave up on humanity in BvS. At no point was he the Man of Tomorrow.... and I'm gonna stop myself as I've ranted about this before
