It's going to take a hell of a lot more than "any lawyer worth their salt" to not only win this one, but also somehow retain his employment if any of it is true.

Yeh,this isn't nearly the same situation as Adam Rose(where he was involed in domestic) where the victim didn't want to charge and that was it.

Or like Lawler where both sides couldn’t get a clear story about the situation and nobody else could clarify either story as they’re in their house.

The fact there are witnesses involved changes the entire case, no matter what the affected does or say.

Also, she doesn’t actually have the legal right to refuse to testify against him, in all likelihood. The spousal privilege at common law and in most states applies only to confidential communications between spouses, not to events and occurrences like this. It’s just that detectives wouldn’t be likely to threaten a victim of domestic violence with a contempt sanction for not testifying out of sensitivity for the victim. But, with independent corroborating witnesses and everything it sounds like this case will likely go to a trial/plea whether or not Su cooperates fully with the prosecutors.

Like the others have mentioned, none of this is right. It was a public incident involving property damage and multiple witnesses. Nothing she can do or say now will change this now.
