But never found. And any that you did.
With Christmas coming up it could be a fun topic to discus or rant. Doesn't have to be a Christmas list item just something in life you have always wanted and have yet to achieve, find, buy etc.
I have many white rabbits and in my current state of depressed and anxious neurotic recollection. I am thinking about some stuff. I was dirt poor growing up but I always was spoiled on Holidays.
But like any kid who has many toys there are always new ones, better ones etc.
My cousins had the White Rangers sabre and all of the zoids. I always wanted them but never did get them.
And also other than one vacation 15 years ago I have never been on a true vacation, enjoyed the beach or travled very far. I was supposed to last summer but had to bow out because of my ex wife and sone wrestling commitments I had during training.
Which leads me to the white rabbit I caught. Always wanted to be a wrestler. I passed training and have been part of the company since, I did get a severe neck injury adter 9 weeks that may have prevented me from officially wrestling but,in my eyes I set out and achieved the goal. Injuries can't take it away.

The E-Wing from the MicroMachines Star Wars Action Fleet line. I saw it once along with the TIE Defender and my parents made me choose one. I went with the TIE Defender and I never saw either again in any store.

My parents were the best when I was a kid...they waited in line at this toy store in Santa Monica called Puzzle Zoo and got me all the OG Power Rangers toys and Zords...I got the white saber eventually too...but it spoke in Japanese...which I do not understand..
I always wanted the full grown Godzilla when Godzilla (98) came out but it got recalled. Funny enough I saw it a few months ago at this collectible place by me called Frank And Sons but it was ridiculously overpriced.

OG megazord. Should’ve bought one of the legacy ones when they came out but couldn’t justify paying £80 for one. Which seems a bit of a steal now that they go for at least £400 on eBay.

I had Soundwave in my collection but could never get my hands on the trio that turned into the camera.
When I was collecting Battle Beasts I found out that I had missed one, but wasn't about to pay $85 for it when I did find it.
I also wanted the Tengen version of Tetris for NES because the Nintendo one never felt like the arcade version. will probably only ever own that in emulator form.

Me and my sister collected the Sonic Archie comic series when we were kids. We had EVERY issue from like the early 20's until I think around issue 125 is when we lost interest. But we never had issue 46 and it weirdly bothers me to this day. I actually have a recurring dream even now as a grown man where I randomly find it in some store and buy it haha.

That goddamn GI Joe aircraft carrier will forever be my white whale Mine too. The Rolling Thunder vehicle was mine. I asked for it for three straight Christmas’s, probably long after it was out of circulation.

Being an only child, plus oldest grandchild on one side and youngest on the other,I got pretty much every toy I wanted as a kid. Had the Flagg, had Omega Supreme.
The one thing I asked for and never got was the KITT from Knight Rider that came with a Michael Knight action figure, and if you pressed the tag the car talked. Mom and her sisters went from NOLA to Mobile and could never find one. Instead I got a KITT Hot Wheels like car that you pulled back and it raced forward and then jumped.
I know now I could just go buy one, sure I could find one still in the box,

I know now I could just go buy one, sure I could find one still in the box, Now you are making me feel bad, my brother got two (one from my mom and one from our grandparents) the same Christmas. Then we blew one up with fireworks and a pellet gun much later down the road (We would put GI Joes in it and someone would pull it with a string while we shot at the GI Joes). Here we are horribly abusing someone's white whale of a childhood toy. The toy I always wanted but never got... Hmmm... Kind of hard, I used to never give christmas lists so I always got completely random stuff and was happy (One of my favorite figures I ever got was Bob from Batman - played with that poor schmuck all the time - got it as a completely random stocking stuffer), and my mom would shop way early in the year so she always got everything you did ask for. The one thing(s) I can think of that I never got was a complete set of the Micromachines Babylon 5 stuff - and I always regret it. I'm not sure it counts since that was way after we stopped even doing Christmas presents. I wish the new micromachines Star Wars stuff was as good as the old stuff...

I always wanted stock in something. Oh well, I guess I can pursue that once I get some money freed up for that.
Also, I don't have the best pain tolerance which torpedoed any ideas of wrestling or MMA training. Now that I'm 27, it's definitely too late for me to start.

Age-wise, I don't think it's too late if you have a drive for it. Your own view on your threshold of pain definitely plays a factor though.

I got two for this topic.
I don't want to say I was spoiled as a kid, because I didnt get everything. I got what I wanted though. My mom in the pre internet days drove around to every toy store high and low to get me the things I absolutely wanted. She was always great to me like that.
So there is only 1 toy that I never got. For whatever reason I loved the Dick Tracy toys in the 90's. I got several for a birthday and used every allowance to buy a new one. My mom caught on and would help me find what I now know were the short packs, and she would buy them for me and hold them until I could "buy" them from her. I had an almost complete set. There was only 1 we couldn't find. I think we spent three weekends in a row driving all over California stopping in every toy store big and small looking but never found it. I'll never forget the vigor my mom displayed, looking for that toy for me. In alot of ways I believe my mom realized she was collecting them too, and discovered the joy of collecting in the process. In all the years since she has collected all kinds of things; Beanie Babies, ceramic Lighthouses, Norman Rockwell Evening Post drinking glasses, etc. We talk as adults now about collecting and it brings us alot of happiness.
That 1 I never got? Yep, The Blank. We never knew at the time, but it only got distributed in Canada. I eventually bought one when I got older and gave it to her as a present. The rest of the collection was long gone at that point, but she loved it and still has it on display on one of her shelves.
For me? My white wale is a game used Chris Pronger Road Hartford Whalers jersey. Its next to impossible to find since he only played there a short time, and it's likely there was only ever one actual jersey since it was the mid 90's and sports teams didnt go through multiple sets a season back then. Anyway I remember seeing one/ the "one" at a convention in 1998. The seller wanted too much for my taste back then, I think $400. I can only imagine what the rookie jersey of a HOF player plus the demand for a Whalers jersey, goes for these days, if you can find it.

As for toys? There were ones I had when I was really young that didn't last through my younger reckless years and family relocations. Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, Voltron, Gi Joes, Rambo, Robocop, and many other 70's, 80's, and 90's American and Japanese properties that have made a return in the toy world in much better definitive versions. Through the years I, in some way or another, got them back. The original with their current counterpart. I wish I had a one thing. But I will say,
I'll say Omega Supreme for my pick. The 3rd Party versions that are out now are outstanding.
