Byron been the worst WWE commentator for a long while. Y'all just now noticing? He's the second worst of all-time, in my opinion.

Byron been the worst WWE commentator for a long while. Y'all just now noticing? I think Cole's generally been worse this year, but that's Cole getting worse, not Saxton getting better. It's pretty telling when Cole is gone from the table once and suddenly commentary has a 'night and day' affect on the product. That said, Cole still has his moments (rarer these days) when he's actually entertaining in his position. As for Saxton...I'm honestly trying to think of one time when I actually liked what he was doing, or he couldn't have easily been replaced with WWE2K commentary tracks to greater effect.

That was bizarre, especially considering that Saxton is a de facto face. He was a dick.
And the suggestion that KO trying to gouge out Bryan’s eye “didn’t count” because it wasn’t WWE is just so inane. Like it’s a bafflingly dumb argument.

I was cringing. He was absolutely drowning in his own nonsense, and Graves was pulling him to pieces.

Worst comms since Alex Riley on NXT
Worst in WWE that is. Compared to TNA, LU and New Japan's English team he's the reincarnation of Solie.

Byron's failed in pretty much every role they've put him in. It's time to cut their losses and get rid of the guy.

It bothers me when Graves and Phillips cringe at Saxton's commentary. He doesn't seem to understand what he's seeing half the time.

It was pretty entertaining in all, especially when Graves kept pouring salt all over Byron's wounds against Bryan throughout I'd say.
It kinda made me want to see Byron try to be full Heel Commentator and shift Corey to a Stone Cold Steve Austin-like tweener color. I think Byron still sounded fairly buyable despite saying the horrible script he was given. Heel Cole could've used half of that buyability and maybe if Shane turns heel and Bryan starts clashing with him regularly on SDLive, Byron could push the new agenda.

The one thing I like about Byron is the way that he engages with Corey Graves in a debate when Graves is cheerleading for the heels. The problem is that he doesn't seem really good at framing his arguments in ways that seem like he knows what he's talking about.

Respectfully but vehemently disagree. I find it absolutely intolerable. But then I could say the same for the whole promotion.
