I like it, but it seems kinda unnecessary. I loved the most recent one, it was just a great looking belt and - objectively - the finest belt ROH has ever produced (although, even though I'll admit it's stylistically weaker, the original is my favourite). This one does look nice but like I said I don't get why they needed to change it. P.S. The Police Badge Belt sucked. They could not sell replicas of the old one. I forget the whole situation but ROH had some replicas made and went to sell them without getting the proper clearances. Interesting that the nameplate says “Cody Rhodes,” what with him not being able to use that name and all. In the video announcing the belt, it didn't have the name plate so they're either having a new one made or don't give a f***. I'd wager it's the last one personally.

Not a fan compared to the previous incarnations. Looks kind of generic, once you remove the logos. As I understand it, this was more of a forced change than anything else, as the guy who designed the previous one is suing them over replicas of his design being sold without his permission (that's why the whole "ring instead of a belt" thing happened in recent months). This new one is definitely my least favorite of the bunch. Yeah, the first one was just a copy of the old UWF belt, but there's something to be said about a championship belt with history behind it being the most important thing. The title reigns of guys like Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, etc. made that design something of value in its own right, overshadowing the UWF design association. The guy who made this new one is the same person who made the below version of the TNA belt. I've always hated how the silver elements of his belts aren't very reflective and shiny. It makes it seem very plastic looking. The same is true with how he did the ROH logos on this new belt. That first one is a classic, but my favorite design will always be their TV title.

Eh, it's alright. I think it looks flat and the design is busy, but it's not terrible. Still prefer the last belt though.

Shit, now I can't unsee Rocco in the Steen belt. Dammit. Same. I was going to say "What the hell are they going on about," and then...I looked at it again. Sonofabitch. Also, Rocko.

ROH and MidWest (Dave Millican, Reggie Parks - the individuals that made the design as well as the classic WWF belts like the IC and Winged Eagle/Parks, Millican & Mann LLC) were suing Figures Inc. (Figures Toy Company) due to them selling the replica belts that were in stock without permission

(Figures Toy Company) due to them selling the replica belts that were in stock without permission Midwest was suing ROH and Figures for selling replicas without giving them royalties for the artwork. Figures wasn't doing anything without ROH's permission. The problem was, ROH did not have the right to use the Midwest designs or license them out without also paying them a fee for each belt sold. Midwest owns the designs. Thus, all of the Midwest designed belts are being phased out and replaced by new Wildcat belts, for which ROH is 100% owner of the artwork, to do with as they please.

My favorite ROH World Title is the second version. The one Tyler Black held.

I like it. Second only to the original.

It's pretty good. Purple is unique. Not big on the WOH, it doesn't quite fit the rest of the more elegant design.

I don't know if he still does, but the guy that designed and made the second world title, along with the original TV title and the second tag titles, used to post here. He shared the designs and stuff as he went through the process. It was pretty cool.
The original belt will always be the best, though. I like simple, classic designs. I also enjoyed all the titles having the same basic look.

He’s a nice guy. I almost did business with him for a project I was working on, but the price was too steep for me.

I think the very first ROH belt is a good example of, "sometimes less is more". Maybe a lot of it has to do with the belt being associated with so many good wrestling memories, but there's nothing wrong with a simple design.

Not bad, though I figure that nameplate is just for personal use.

The WOH belt looks alright, but I hate how women’s wrestling belts almost always have fruity roses or something “feminine” on them. Imagine if the UFC had some bullshit like that. The WWE has gotten better with theirs at least.

The WWE has gotten better with theirs at least. They should do that for a men’s championship, but then not say anything about it.
