.......are they going to say the the nfl are a bunch of pussies because they are trying to protect there players more? Doesn’t WWE have stricter rules than NFL when it comes to things like concussions and domestic violence?

No wonder he broke up American Alpha. He realized the name could cause some problems so he gave em the axe.

Other than the Usos, Roman, and Corbin, who else is on the roster that's ex-NFL/college? Because there's your color commentators right there.
IF this rumored XFL revival actually happens, which I highly doubt it will.

He wants his company to be a big cross brand media like Disney. The recent Fox buyout must have really got Vince’s desire to pursue this more. But the problem is whether you like the Disney product or not.. they know what people want. They didn’t become this giant Empire for making cartoons that were only entertaining to Walt. Unlike WWE, it’s Vince’s way or the highway every time. "People love Frozen, let's put a 20 minute Frozen short in front of Coco. People will love that." *Coco opens, and the Frozen short isn't exactly popular* "People hate the Frozen short in front of Coco? Well shit, pull the short before it damages 2 properties, one of which is already a huge money maker for us."

Vince's desire to be known as anything other than a 'rasslin promoter is really f***ing old by now. If he's so ashamed and wrestling is so bad, why doesn't (or didn't) he sell the company?

If Vince want's ratings he needs to lure big match John out of Hollywood and onto the gridiron

I'm not counting this one out. Given the current political climate in this country and the way the NFL was dragged front and center in this continuing culture war, this is a shrewd business move by Vince imo.
If he becomes the guy who says "Let's Make Football Football Again," mandates standing for the anthem, gets looser on player safety, and places these teams in spots where that kind of branding goes over well, he's got himself a decent chance to making a dent in the NFL machine. Not a sizeable one, but a sliver of that pie is still a lot of cashola.
If 2017 has taught us anything, it's that if you can trick people into believing that you're with them while not expressly espousing their beliefs, you can exploit their nearsightedness in tribalism to the tune of stacks and stacks of cash.
Call Vince what you want, but the dude understands the hustle to make that dollar. This is a risk, but it is in a monumentally better place to succeed than the original launch in 2001.

If this is insane workaholic Vince's way of having some kind of work to fall back on as he hands the keys over to his kids and stops booking WWE, let him start twenty football leagues for all I care.

Not buying in until I see Bob Costas' bitchfit about it.
And if Vince brings back XFL in some form or another, I'll support it like I did the first go-round.

People posting angrily on facebook and retweeting other opinions from likeminded thinkers about the real life political climate is one thing,it's another thing to get them to spend 3 hours to watch crappy minor league football cause they are pissed at the NFL.
