Randy Savage. There are those stories about how much of a psycho he was towards Elizabeth. There was his cringeworthy run in later era WCW where he was broken down, on the juice, and unsafe to work with. There was also his post wrestling phase where he was so bitter and delusional, every time he had a microphone anywhere near him, he'd challenge Hogan to a legit fight, ultimately resulting in that embarrassing rap album. His insane bitterness is also why he never went into the HoF during his lifetime. It's very rare to see fans point these things out. I'm a long time Randy Savage fan (he's a top 5 greatest of all time IMO), but some of these rumors have always bothered me. And you didn't even mention the rumors of him sleeping with an underage Stephanie McMahon.

You know what? Andre. As beloved as he is by so many people in and out of the business, there's enough backstory to paint him as an incredibly unprofessional worker. He was, at best, casually racist, with both Kamala and Bad News Brown confronting him about racist remarks he'd said. He purposely attempted to intimidate co-workers into quitting, and could be excessively hostile towards those he felt threatened his spot. He often worked drunk. Hell, Hogan was scared he wouldn't job to him at WM3. Hulk Hogan afraid of someone out-politicing him.

The stuff that people said about how Savage treated Liz was definitely bothersome, but the rumor about him and Stephanie, I never took seriously at all.

As far as I know, no one who would have been there has confirmed it or even implied it to be true. The timeline also doesn't make much sense for when it'd have supposedly happened. The rumor is not even remotely plausible.

Rikishi was also known for missing out on family functions to get bookings on indy shows. Kidman is very unpleasant to meet, from what I saw. And of course I've mentioned my other examples already. Don't know if it's true but allegedly Rikishi missed a close family wedding for a booking. Must be something to it, they made a big deal about on it Total Divas where he missed Jimmy Uso’s Wedding and they spun it like he’s probably racist towards Naomi

Dusty Rhodes is the Andy Reid of pro wrestling. Being fat and affable to the right people gets you a ton of slack.

I wasn't but if there's two guys of the same name that are not that good at their respective professions, then mayhap that name is cursed.

Reidy was talented but lazy as far as I remember. Got his big move quite young and it never really happened for him, often carrying more timber than he should have been.
He ended up back at his first club eventually.

It's tickling me that Dusty Rhodes can be accurately compared to multiple Andy Reids

It's tickling me that Dusty Rhodes can be accurately compared to multiple Andy Reids It shows how legendary his best promos were because everyone remembers Hard Times but noone remembers "In 30 years Daddy, I'm gon' be compared to two slightly disappointing sportsmen from disparate walks of life"

Specially Scott. The f***ing steroids killed what was left of his brain around 2000. Mark Madden told Lance Storm that during Steiner's entrances, the camera would cut away from him when he got close to the fans because they were legit scared he was gonna fight the fans.

Steiner getting a pass and still being viewed positively by many is something I find unsettling. Huge sweeping generalisation alert, but it feels like if you put on some decent matches and shoot about people who have vocal dislike among fans (Hunter, Hogan, Bischoff, Flair) people will overlook a lot.

You see normally when you do something wrong you have a 50% chance of being redeemed but compared to say, a Samoa Joe who would be forgiven less due to his obesity, Scott Steiner is a genetic freak so he has a 75% chance of being redeemed. Add Kurt Angle to the mix and his constant claims of hacking, everyone else's chance for redemption drastic go down.

I think most of his fandom is gone, the guy is in his 50s and hasn't been on tv for years. I think most people will remember him for the backstage stories. There's bully and hazing but the stuff that has come out about Scott Steiner is criminal.

Austin Aries seems to get a lot of love from fans and especially from Gabe Sapolsky and he's always come off as Low Ki light backstage. Nobody, it seems except Gabe has ever enjoyed booking for him. He's got a rep with how he treats fans equal to CM Punk with nowhere near the status to back it up. He does have some talent but it is dwarfed by his ego. I've never been saddened to see him leave.
EDIT
Also there was this...
