F4W: Dean Ambrose's Injury is Legit

By the sounds of things the angle like I thought was an emergency segment to write Dean out. Apparently he had been working through an Elbow Injury for a number of weeks, hence the sleeve. The match tonight rather the bump he took off of Seth's Dive (Bret Hart.gif) seemed to do him in. 

Really bad timing for a few reasons, Rumble Season, Mania, and all Roman had in saving him from the Boos was The Shield... Shield. So we'll see.

If there's a timetable for how long he might be out, it can be posted here and I'll update the OP and title or a Mod can whoever first. Thoughts out to edgestar in this time

All those years of being the workhorse of the company and never taking a day off finally got to him. Sprains take 2-3 weeks to heal and luckily even broken elbows take what 2 months to recover from so Ambrose will be back before we know it. Won't be surprised if he pops up at the Royal Rumble. He's definitely not missing WM.

Rumble's only a Month away though isn't it? 

Also we need to see, if he tore some ligaments that could make things complicated, we'll find out. If anyone earned some time off though damn it's Dean... maybe actually credit him as being a Grand Slam Champion WWE.

A month and a half.

He could have torn some ligaments but given how long this has been going on and how he's still been wrestling I think it's just likely a sprain he's gotta deal with. If it were a torn ligament then the damage to Ambrose would be far worse than expected. Also I imagine if it were that serious he would have gotten his elbow worked out during his vacation a few weeks ago but it sounds like they thought it was something that could be healed with rest.

Hearing it described I figured it was a set-up for him turning heel on Seth for injuring him. Hope it's nothing too serious.

I know it sounds weird, but this could be good for him. That guy has been going full-stop with no breaks for 5 years, and during the initial brand split he was putting in a ridiculous amount of matches. While he's out healing his arm it'll give the rest of him time to rest up as well.

Damn, I was certain he was faking it and it was planting the seeds for his heel turn. Dean's one of my absolute favorite performers, so it'll suck not seeing him around for however long it's going to be. That said, he could probably use the time off too.

No it's what legit hurt him though, he was a part of the bump to basically catch him which was going to seemingly set up a finish with Joe, Jason, and Seth, that had to be changed due to the injury

DEC. 19 UPDATE: After sustaining an injury to his right arm last night during Raw, Dean Ambrose is currently undergoing further examination by noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, WWE.com can confirm.

“An MRI has shown suspicion for a high-grade triceps tendon injury, possibly a tear, so he is undergoing surgical exploration and most likely surgical repair of the torn triceps tendon,” WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com. “That surgery will be happening later this evening, and we should have some further updates either later tonight or tomorrow morning as to what the findings were, what the structures that were damaged were, and also a timeline for recovery.”

If they're being legit with the details this is pretty serious. Looking it seems like at the very least he'd be out four to six months and it's possible it'll take a full year and he'll never actually fully get back his strength.
