The whole situation between Hulk Hogan and Sid Justice. Sid eliminates Hogan at the Royal Rumble, then Hogan causes Sid to be eliminated. Somehow, Sid is the heel in all of this. Ha, I f***ing despised Hogan because of this. The way the whole thing played out, I feel like they completely forgot a story element that would've made this actually make sense. Had they established that Sid and Hogan had formed a partnership to get to the end of the Rumble, then may the best man win and Sid went against it when he saw his opening. Okay, it's still a bitch thing to do when two of the most overpowered guys on the roster have to team up, especially when they're faces. However, the way the two sold the elimination really looked like they completely forgot to make that a known part of the storyline. Hogan looking surprised, holding his hands together like, "We had a deal! We were supposed to be partners." Then Sid looking all cocky saying, "It's every man for himself!" Had they made it very well known that they had a deal worked out, it might have actually made Sid look more heelish in this. However, without that... it does come across that Sid saw an opening and took it and Hogan became a crybaby who decided to screw Sid over just because he didn't get to win. I really feel like this was the straw that broke the camel's back and started the landslide shift of when people started booing Hogan. Even while the crowd was more on Warrior's side in their match, Hogan did recover with the Slaughter and Flair feuds, but the crowd really never came back to his side after the Rumble.

The B+ thing with Daniel Bryan. Normally that wouldn't be inherently bad, because one could argue that a heel authority figure telling the fans that their hero wasn't worthy of being a star could simply motivate the fans to cheer even more for him, but it became very clear that this was WWE management's genuine view of the guy, and they only booked Bryan to prevail at WM reluctantly, to throw the fans their bone. Even after he won, they went right back to calling him B+ again, which completely defies all booking logic. It would be like Rocky beating Apollo for the title in Rocky II, only for Apollo to call him the Italian Chicken again afterwards. I'd put all the flying goat/troll etc...shit that JBL was instructed to say in the same category. WWE was clearly pissed off that Bryan had fan support and that it was ruining their preferred booking. Utter contempt for the audience. The summer of Punk was similarly sabotaged. I got such terrible Benoit vibes after Wrestlemania... where both he and Bryan had worked so long and so hard and finally got to be the flag-bearer of the company. But, instead they just tossed them both into feuds with Kane over the title while the main feud focus shifted to Triple H. In Benoit's case it was Triple H/Kevin Nash and in Bryan's it was Evolution Vs. Shield.

With Sid at the RR, what they should have done is have Hogan eliminate Sid, who then pulls Hogan out of the ring or goes back into the ring and powerbombs Hogan, allowing Flair to win the title. I don't know what WWE were thinking by booking it the way they did. All they did was make Hogan look stupid and Sid seem sympathetic.

The Dr. Hiney bit proved Vince books for himself and not the fans. He must think we're stupid if a) he thinks we'd find that funny and b) that we'd be OK making fun of Jim Ross, considering the goodwill JR has built up over the years.

The Slammys because everyone know the fans have no decision on who wins those awards. The Bellas winning and thanking the fans for their support while the fans booed their heads off did give us a funny moment. I'm not sure that's necessarily the case. The audience that the Bellas are over with, mainly a female audience, is way more likely to vote in this kind of shit than the majority of the overwhelmingly male wrestling crowd. There is just more precedent for a female audience voting in this kind of thing. And the Bellas are way more over with casuals than people like to give them credit for, just like Kelly Kelly was before. Plus everyone they interview says the votes aren't worked. Sunday Night Hear after the Nowinski/Steiner debate - Coach: "I think Steiner made a lot of great points." Nah, that's them making the correct assumption that nobody was watching Heat in 2003 and so could say anything they wanted!

Isn't this also the reason Shane Helms became The Hurricane and/or Gregory Helms? Didn't want the audience to confuse him for Shane McMahon? And William Regal because there with too many Steves? Curse you Stevie Richards! I'll say that this is likely more not wanting too many similar things instead of thinking people would confuse people who look totally different. When writing a story, it's always best to use different names. It helps the announcers too. They even have enough trouble keeping people straight as it is. I mean, how many times did JR mix up the Hardys or Edge and Christian?

Arguably the most famous example...Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel. Eh... I'd say yes if they were passing them off as the real things but they weren't. The entire point of that gimmick was they were obviously different people in the role.

Roman Reigns... just about anything with Roman Reigns these past four years And depicting any Loud Crowd that actually gives genuine reactions to the product as BIZARRO WORLD, because yeah, that's how I would want to be depicted by a company I want to support and give a genuine opinion on. Yeah... the idea that people only booed Roman for beating the Undertaker was because it's a bizzaro world and he would be beloved anywhere else is pretty much the top of this. Especially since well Reigns cut a heel promo in front of them. Before again the next week going back to the aw shucks "course I respect Mr. Undertaker" face route... which people still booed the hell out of... Not having Roman turn into the smug dickhead heel off that "This is my yard now" promo has to be one of the biggest moments of them lighting a trashcan full of money on fire out of stubbornness the WWE has had in years.

Billed Benoit "From Calgary Alberta, now residing in Atlanta Georgia" and Jericho "From Winnipeg Canada now residing in Manathhan New York".... Vince we aren't stupid. We know they are Canadians eh? Hey get it right, Manhattan wasn't mentioned. Jericho was announced as "born in Manhasset, New York". Which is technically true since he was born while his father was playing for the New York Rangers. I mean they even had a mini-feud storyline thing with Benoit based on Lillian announcing Chris Jericho won a match he wasn't in.

I agree with you, but if you look at it in the context of the era, they booked Hogan as if whatever he did, whether it was right or wrong, was the right thing to do. Sid was his friend to the end, just like Macho before him, and when Hogan's friend does him wrong, Hogan can do whatever he wants and he'll be cheered. Except in this case 1) the fans were on to the booking of Hogan 2) Sid had a strong following and 3) Flair put on a performanc that, face or heel, would get cheered.

Hey remember when Charlotte redeemed herself in the eyes of the fans by acknowledging all the bad things she did in her reign of terror on Raw? That was great storyte- oh no they just had her on the face side of a 6 man tag one week.
Dipshits.

I remember the HHH/Nash feud that was a result of the Summer of Punk. HHH said that when Nash attacked him it broke his heart.....guess he forgot about 2003 where he nailed him with sledgie and had a hiac match
