Does this mean Ziggler is going to NXT?

That's my guess and it would make perfect sense. He relinquished the US title and said he was through with Smackdown. There are rumors about bringing main roster guys down to NXT to even out the roster. A guy like Ziggler would fit perfect on the NXT brand, as he can have a great match with anyone and get bring out the best in guys before they are ready for Raw or Smackdown.


As far as storyline, Ziggler can be the top guy in NXT who is there because Raw and Smackdown held up back. Pretty much Shane Douglas' shtick in ECW but updated. It also helps build the NXT brand that Ziggler elected to go to NXT on his own and even threw down the US title in the process. He didn't show up because he lost an loser leaves the brand match, which would make his NXT arrive look like a demotion. 

Just think of the match possibilities to headline the next couple of takeovers like Ziggler vs. Rodrick Strong, Ziggler vs. Adam Cole, or even Ziggler vs. Alistair Black

It would like a lot better than jobber to the stars Cien Almas as headliner of the brand.

I really figure it's more something he'll come out and do every single week for like three months to ass-backwardly set up some random match no one cares about, just like the entrance thing. All Dolph does anymore is stumble around blindly eating up entirely too much screentime trying desperately to find some gimmick that actually works.

If they do, complete reset. Call him Nick Nemeth. Have him cut a promo completely down and out, wanting to prove himself. No show off gimmick, just starting at the bottom, competitive matches, have him fall short a few times then last chance saloon he starts to pick up wins. Then you have a streak. Not Goldberg dominance, but winning, new humble babyface Nick. Possibly that would save him.
