Usos need a WM match that isn't on the pre-show but also isn't the first match of the night. I say this: Usos vs Shield. Have the story be about the Usos calling The Shield out still and the entire time the question will be "will Ambrose return in time?" until the night of where Ambrose shows up. Ambrose and Rollins win and then all is well. The next night, Ambrose betrayed Rollins and goes heel. Writes itself. Well depends how long Ambrose is out tho If he can make it to Mania and then set up an angle where Shield lose and you can play up the craziness of Ambrose in many diff ways Ambrose/Rollins doesn't seem to be happening at Mania so this is the next best thing and something the Usos have been calling for.

There's a reason almost nobody getting a good push in WWE jumps ship while there's no shortage of people leaving NJPW to go to WWE. They'd most likely be taking a massive paycut to go to NJPW. I doubt they feel strongly enough about being on the Wrestlemania and Summerslam pre-shows to actually leave. Eh, I'd bet the paycut wouldn't be as massive as you'd think. NJPW has proven that they can draw American talent hungry to be out of "the machine", and then when you offset that with the likely ROH dates, and various indy spot shows they could command a pretty penny for, just for being able to put "Former WWE Superstars The Usos" on the website/poster.....they'd take a cut in pay, but I'd bet it wouldn't be "massive". It's one thing if your just jobbing like Cody was at the end of his WWE tenure or stuck in the dead-end cruiserweight division but who are all these actually pushed guys willingly leaving WWE to go to NJPW/ROH/the indies?

If that's how they perform when they've been slapped in the face, I say keep slappin 'em.

And all guys would benefit from it. The Usos have a match on the main card and win while Ambrose and Rollins setup their whole thing. In a way it's a long term storyline too since they've been pushing this for months.

They're not wrong, at all. See every WrestleMania in the past 5 years too. This was my response after reading the OP.

Seriously, if you had put that terrible Big Show vs. Big Cass match on the preshow, I would not have cared a bit. The Usos should have been on the main show easily. I imagine the bookers responding to any complaints about that decision with "but they're both big[/]. You can see the bind we're in."

I think at this stage in his career Big Show wouldn't have minded if he was told his match vs Cass was on the Summerslam kick off. Cass may have minded, Enzo may have minded too, but I don't think Show would've.

That would be a sick tag match but I think ultimately the Usos deserve their own platform against The Shield. KO/Sami should be tag champs before Wrestlemania so that will keep New Day busy while The Bar will have their tag title match against someone or probably a few teams like last year

It seems that the wrestlers perform better matches when they're misplaced and angry (see also Batista vs Taker at Wrestlemania) Maybe that's the secret to improve the quality of pay-per-view events: switch the order of the card and let Elias Samson's concert to close the show

I'm gonna be f***ing livid if they get left off the Mania main card AGAIN this year. No one deserves to be on the show more than them this year. They're one of the hottest acts in the company and have been busting their asses and reinventing themselves for YEARS, and still don't have a Wrestlemania appearance to show for it. But how will WWE make time to give us the 30 minute Soulja Boy rap segment that we clearly all want?

The preshow garbage in general is a slap in the face to anyone on it. Sorry guys...you’re on the PPV without technically being on the PPV so no DVD royalties for you. It’s screwing hard working guys out of exposure and money. There’s no way anyone of importance should be in a glorified dark match. That’s how we get Neville situations.

Cass may have minded, Enzo may have minded too, but I don't think Show would've. As long as he's getting paid, Big Show ran out of shits to give. Guy was on Austin's podcast joking about the constant heel/face turns and that's how he looks at it now. Just send me my check.

If these boys don't get 20 min on the main Mania card, I will truly hold it against WWE.

I mean shit, even freaking NEW DAY didn't get a match last Mania.

I am not saying they WILL get that match, but the disrespect is clearly real.

Sorry, that segment is getting bumped this year so Steph can extend the previously planned 45 minute promo about how she invented female empowerment in 2015 and then not put anyone over even if it's Ronda freaking Rousey
