Besides the Tanaka vs. Awesome classics. Is there anything else anyone can recommend from that era on Friday nights?

I always enjoyed the match where The Dudleys lost the tag team titles to Dreamer and Raven.

Super Calo showed up for one show and wrestled Super Crazy in a match I recall as being pretty good.

I always enjoyed the match where The Dudleys lost the tag team titles to Dreamer and Raven. Can't say I remember it being a great match, all things considered (I just seem to remember it being a few minutes of the Dudleys beating the crap out of Dreamer before Raven ran in), but it sure as hell was a memorable one. The Dudleys farewell, Raven returns, the electricity in the crowd at both. This was the first of Raven's many surprise run-in returns/debuts over the years, and the most effective, imho. His WWF arrival and the 20 or so times he did it in TNA just didn't have the same atmosphere and impact.

The Tajiri/Super Crazy feud, including the three-way matches they had with Little Guido.

I'm pretty sure RVD/Lynn from Sept. 1999 at the ECW Arena aired on TNN as well as Hardcore TV. One of the great unsung matches of the late 90s. It is the one where Lynn has hurt ribs. It had heat and near falls unlike anything else from that time period.

OP exempted Tanaka Vs. Awesome, but I’d like to interject the first live ECW show I ever watched was Awesome calling Tanaka out, and him stepping into the ring in street clothes and winning after a brutal match. Absolutely amazing TV that sold me on the product for life.

Was the Impact Players vs. Gedo and Jado on the TNN show? Because that was a brilliant match?

The debut show on TNN aired the complete Hardcore Heaven '99 match between RVD and Jerry Lynn. That is easily one of my top 5 matches of all time, and the best in the excellent series of matches that Lynn and RVD had.
Chris Candido and Rhyno vs Raven and Tommy Dreamer was a pretty good match that aired on TNN.

I remember a match with RVD vs. Kid Kash in the summer of 2000 that was pretty good also, though I can't remember if it was for TNN or Hardcore TV.
