I never really saw what others saw in Kanyon. He was perfectly fine for where he was on the card, but I don’t really think that he should have ever gotten any sort of real push either.

Everything he did *looked* good, but it was just moves. He was one of the first big name 'Video Game Wrestlers'. Not even spotty, just move move move finish. Even then, though, it should be said that Kanyon was pretty influential in his style- it was said around the same time period that Edge had made his bones in WWE because he was able to wrestle like Kanyon. So yes, Kanyon may not be a legend, but yes, he was better than Jim Neidhart in a yellow mask.

Kanyon was always legitimately one of my favorite wrestlers, from the time he dropped the Mortis gimmick on, and I even came to appreciate Mortis a lot more in hindsight. Sad that he never got a real, strong run with the WWE.
